One extra show in New Orleans. And also adding 2 shows in Los Angeles and 1 in San Francisco. Those shows are as follows:

Man, I'm super torn about hitting up one of their Chicago shows. On one hand, their Riot Fest set was one of my top 3 shows from last year (the other two being Hans Zimmer and Tool) and it would be really neat seeing them in a smaller venue. Also, the new album is great! On the other hand, IDK if its worth dropping ~$200 on a resale ticket. Anyone else have to justify spending big $$$ on a single concert without hardcore buyers remorse?

Depends what you are giving up in order to justify expensive concert tickets. Personally, cutting down on drinking and going out to restaurants/bars helps a ton.
But this upcoming NIN tour is going to kick so much fucking ass, especially since all the setlists will most likely rotate from show to show. Do it!

I asked my wife if she wants to go see Bully tommorow in Athens. She saw that they're playing at 11. She was like "pm?" and immediately changed her mind.

One of the different things about living here is shit is late. I have trouble getting motivated for going out before 10. It only usually happens if I’m either visiting somewhere else, at House of Blues or the occasional stadium or arena show. I always dug the late and overnight scenes, so 3/4/5/6 on a weekend is usually fine with me.

Those ticket prices will come down closer to the show. If you're willing to go Thursday I'm guessing you'll be able to buy for face.
