I'm going to try to make it down a week from Sunday for Railroad Earth, and the Saturday before the Super Bowl for Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Here Come the Mummies, Umprey's, OAR. Should be a pretty great week for Indy residents!!
I have given some thought to heading up to Indy to participate in some Occupy protests on Super Bowl weekend. This was depending on whether or not I can find someone to stay with since my bank account is basically empty at the moment. Now that I've seen this I'm pretty sure I'm going to Indy that weekend. If I get the job I just interviewed for I won't be able to make it up in time to catch Fitz and the Tantrums on Friday, which is a bummer. But I can catch Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Here Come The Mummies, Umph, North Mississippi Allstars AND O.A.R. all on Saturday, FOR FREE.
Anyone plan on going to Indy for this? If so I think an Inforoo meetup is in order. Plus, if you're into it you can stick around till Sunday and protest outside of the Super Bowl.
That Saturday on the 4th looks really good. Theres about 5 acts I would see there. Plus Morris Day and the motherfuckin Time. With the exception of John Spencer, ill pass on that first week.

I'm starting to get kind of excited about this weekend! I'm planning on leaving work early on Saturday, figuring out a way to get downtown and seeing Here Come the Mummies, Umphreys, and O.A.R.
