Should I not say anything when someone is posting narrow-minded nonsense?
No but watching the same 10 people dog pile on others gets really old and honestly it is distasteful to watch. Even when I agree with you like I do here you still come off as a gang of bullies.
We're just having a good time, narc. Why do you want to destroy us?
Don't commit your hate crimes here. HATE CRIMES!!!

Godzilla had/has an opinion, some people do not agree. They seem to be having a pretty healthy back on forth on the topic...even if it has gotten a little off the thread topic. Why come in assert bullying? Or say things that could start a minor shizstorm, when the parties involved are not even fighting?
How do people feel about My Blue Heaven? My friend in college literally asked us to watch it every day with him, and because he was our resident obnoxious friend, we said no every time. I feel like I have a bias and am aware of this bias, so I want to make sure a re-watch is in order since I don't see that kid anymore and won't associate the movie with him.
Either of them ever been known to actually partake in violence? It's not a leading question, but on a (very) quick search, I didn't see any indications of such.
So statements different people made about different types of acts potentially killing the vibe for different reasons altogether is somehow related? Don't cross the streams.
The point is you're holding a double standard. You're holding a club incident that you can't even verify Rocky was a part of against him, while excusing Bjork for being loony tunes.
I'm saying that just this past summer, ASAP was involved with violence himself and that his putting on a show directly led to violence in others. The latter is of particular concern since you yourself assert that he had no control over it and especially since it was so recent.

Because he hadn't posted in here yet?
Oh, he posted this little number earlier in the thread:
Wow nothing like watching the circle jerks on here close in for the kill, really not the prettiest part of inforoo. Remember though if you do not share their opinion you are just prey.
I guess since no one acknowledged him he had to re-post and up the ante with the "bullying" aspect.

Is this a serious question?
If so, the answer is a resounding yes.
"The FBI file alleges that the Wu-Tang Clan “purchased numerous guns from the Steubenville, Ohio, area,” later claiming that the sellers identified the rappers through a photo spread presented to them. At least one of the guns involved in this purchase—a black Glock .40 caliber, model No. 27—was identified as the murder weapon in the killing of Robert Johnson, a.k.a. “Pooh,” on Staten Island, New York, on December 30, 1997. According to the file, “Johnson was an associate of the WTC who had a falling out with the group and it is believed that his murder was ordered by someone within the WTC.”"

Yes, they are somehow related in that they were all based on emotional, knee-jerk worries that had no founding in reality.

Jesus Christ, dude. Swedish House Mafia had stabbings at a show. I saw two hippie women throwing haymakers to the point they almost flipped over the 2nd story balcony at Williamsburg Music Hall during a god damn Chris Robinson Brotherhood show. Stop pretending that violence happening at a show is indicative of the artist in question.
Dude, I don't know you, obviously, but making generalizations about rappers being violent makes you sound racist. You need to know that.
How is pointing to specific acts of violence "making generalizations?"
Because you are pointing out and criticizing his while, intentionally or subconsciously, ignoring those of many others who have played Bonnaroo or are rumored to be playing.
Not trying to call you a bad person, I'm just telling you how your first comment about ASAP read to a lot of people.

Edit: what Horn said
It's not just that you point to those acts, it's that you are blind (either willfully or otherwise) to the fact that many, many musical artists/acts have had similar issues with the law and you're focusing on the hip-hop guy to convey your feelings.
I personally don't think you're racist, but the only two people you've found issue with are ASAP and Kanye, so you left the door open to that interpretation, I guess.

One of the nights of the MMJ run at Port Chester featured a particular drunk dude getting into fights/shoving matches with two separate guys. It had nothing at all to do with the music being played on the stage. It had to do with a drunk idiot who was looking for a fight.

Giving examples of fan violence that is unrelated to what's going on onstage does not change the fact that what happened in Miami was because ASAP was onstage.
The only person that I actually brought up was Charles Manson, and my people have just confirmed that he is indeed still white.
Yes, the only white person you could find in the history of music to associate with being arrested was a guy known for mass murder and not music at all.

Legit question: Are you worried about someone getting shot or beat up at his set at Bonnaroo (assuming he is on the lineup)?

Yeah, hanging out with the Beach Boys and Neil Young and very nearly getting a recommendation from the latter for a record deal - no relation to the music industry at all.

At the train station heading back into the city I was standing talking to one of my friends that I went with and was in some guys way. His girlfriend said "excuse me," I moved over and apologized and then her belligerent boyfriend shoved me as he walked by and tried to fight me. I just side-stepped him and he almost tumbled face-first onto the train tracks. Me and my friend grabbed him, straightened him up and sent him on his way.

I can't tell if you're intentionally being contrarian or if you're really this delusional.
Charles Manson is not applicable to this discussion, unless your insinuation is that ASAP is an underling or two away from carving a swastika in his forehead and ordering the murder of multiple people because he's a sociopath. Then yes, Manson has bearing in this discussion.

Wonder if that was the same guy.
I once had a guy try to fight me at a pizza place after a show for according to him, putting a mozzarella stick in his pocket and getting grease on said pocket.

Maybe same guy?
Last year during the Black Keys at ACL I had this nice spot leaning up against a tree in the back of the field and had a drunk try to fight me over it. I think it was mainly due to the fact the gilr he was with was obviously tired and wanted to lean against the other side. Luckily she was able to draw him away before it escalated.
