What is this lineup missing? I mean really? It's outstanding and I don't think they could have nailed it better when thinking of the Groups and Artists over the last year and a half that have been making great music. The only two names I can think of are MBV and Frank Ocean.

The lineup is so great that I keep forgetting bands like these that I was hoping for. Luckily I will see Frank at JazzFest. I will just have to accept that there will be no MBV. I also was hoping for Deerhunter, MGMT, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Atoms for Peace. I didn't honestly expect AfP, so that is not important. The YYYs would be good, but oh well. I've seen MGMT twice, and they were a long shot anyway. The only real band I'm sad about is Deerhunter, but maybe they will tour around here later this year.

The more I look at it, from top to bottom, this is the best Bonnaroo line-up I've seen. For my tastes at least. The sheer number of bands on this list i wanna see is amazing. And thats before additions.
Yet you're not coming out firmly against it either.
How do you figure?
Let's be clear: I am comparing Bonnaroo's early jam-band heavy days to the wholesale slaughter of North America's indigenous population by the settlers. And I am saying that both practices are obviously abhorrent, but have resulted in something that is by-and-large a good thing. Now that we've gotten to the promised land, I think we can all agree that we have no more need for senseless genocide nor tuneless noodle mongering jambands. Right?

I love the line up. The headliners are great. Additions could make the undercard great as well, but for now the undercard is just okay. Wow the Lumineers got booked way higher than I had thought.
Question: It says that more artists will be announced. Should we expect any significant additions? For example, who was added last year after the initial line-up was announced?
Thanks in advance and I freaking love this line-up.
The lineup is pretty solid overall. I don't see reggae, maybe we get someone in the adds?
The biggest surprise no-book to me is The Black Crowes. They satisfy so many markets: jam band (somewhat), classic rockers, 90s rockers. Plus when you factor in the hiatus and the fact they haven't been at Bonnaroo since 2005 (I think), it just seemed like low hanging fruit to have them there.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

The death of the Sunday jam closer is really the cherry on top of a very solid lineup. Finally.
People keep saying this, but DMB in 2010 wasn't exactly a "jam" headliner...at least in my opinion.
I guess you're right, but this is as far as they've ever gone away from it. Maybe I shouldn't let my guard down. We could be back to WSP next year for all I know.
As of this posting, Mumford officially has three more likes than McCartney on the Bonnaroo website.
Age demographics. I actually wandered into the comments section on Bonnaroo's Facebook today (big mistake) and the lineup was getting trashed by the young uns.

You can expect a decent size name or two. The only two I really remember from last year's addition was fun., Puscifer, and I think Kenny Rogers was an addition too.
Not as bad as it could of been I guess, needs Reggae and a big "jam" name very badly. Different sort of lineup this year, maybe the add-ons will be different too.

Danzig and Rod y Gab were some decent sized additions last year also.

And Rod y Gab actually ended up being the pre-headliner for Radiohead. So that gives me slight hope for someone on the level of Vampire Weekend or Frank Ocean being added.

Word up. Still holding out hope for Baauer but that's just a personal preference ever since I saw him live. Looking forward to the additions either way.
