ATL on a tuesday this year, so I can't do it. Lineup will be announced Monday. Rumored: Rob Zombie Five Finger Death Punch Mastodon Amon Amarth Children Of Bodom Behemoth Emmure Born of Osiris Motionless In White Thrown Into Exile Machine Head Job For A Cowboy Butcher Babies Battlecross Huntress City In The Sea
Last year's lineup was certainly way better than those rumors. I would do it if I lived within a couple hours away from any of the saturday shows. The main thing that excites me is that if Mastodon is in fact doing this they could be added to Bonnaroo if AC were to throw moneys at 'em.

This might actually get me to Atlanta. Zombie, Amon Amarth, Mastodon, and Children of Bodom alone would probably get me there. Everything else is take it or leave it for me.

I don't know if you went to the one in ATL last year, but that shiz was great. We got there a little late and only caught the end of Anthrax on the jager stage. The had ramps set-up just outside the gate near that stage with motorcyclists doing crazy jumps. twas very entertaining. Also, if you have the money, being in the pit at Lakewood for a metal show is absolutely incredible. All the mouth breathers will be moshing in the middle of the lawn and have grass stains on their faces and shiz...non stop lulz. The pit was mostly well composed for the most part though...mostly because it's packed pretty tight, but it's not hard to squeeze through and post up for a good spot close to stage on either side. The sound is absolutely amazing in there though. We were completely immersed by Slayer. I have never felt like I was swimming in bass like that before.
Zombie is going to have an incredible production and Mastodon really brings the energy for fest/big shows. I really want to go, but I'd have to burn two vacation days to do it on a tuesday and that's just not happening.
