There are lots of "Neil Young for Headliner 20--" threads, but I couldn't find a general news and tourdates thread (correct me if I'm wrong), so I'm starting one.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse Fall Tour Watch.
Dates so far: Greenbelt Harvest Picnic - Christie Lake Conservation Area Dundas, ON - 8/31/2013 Capitol Theatre - Portchester NY - 9/2/2013* Ottowa Folk Festival - 9/4/2013 Interlocken Festival - Oak Ridge Farm, Lovington VA - 9/5/2013 Farm Aid - Saratoga Springs, NY - 9/21/2013

I normally think it's fair to consider it confirmed when the ticket seller lists the show...but nothing is ever, ever confirmed when it comes to Neil Young.

Agreed, but when you click the the "buy tickets" button Ticketmaster gives you a "this show has been removed" error, which gave me pause. Show seems likely though.

I hope the fall tour actually happens. Let's not forget how confirmed the Buffalo Springfield fall 2011 tour was. That Bonnaroo 2011 show was really special.

Neil always does the Bridge Benefit concert in Oct at Shoreline. I have been to 8 (both days) I think and each one is special. It is also for a great cause .... cr****

I'm loving that it looks like The Horse will be the last act to perform on Saturday at Interlocken, giving them as long as they want to play. Also Pegi will be playing that day as well.
Awwwww shiz! Neil and the Horse are playing at the Capitol in Port Chester (ALSO KNOWN AS THE SWEETEST THEATRE IN AMERICA)
Gotta find a way to hit this up. Tickets are fuckin expensive, but DAMN, when else do you get a chance to see the Horse in a majestic 2000-capacity theatre?

Whaaaaat!?!?!?!
Must try to make this. I hate how I think "Oh Bonnaroo's over....time to save money on live music" and then I see that Portugal. The Man, Alt-J, NY & CH, and more are all announcing shows near me. I can't afford this habit.

Hahaha, I had the exact opposite vibe after Roo. "Roo's over, must support habit by buying tickets to EVERY SINGLE SHOW AVAILABLE."
That lasted two purchases before I ran outta cash. And it looks like floor seats to this Cap show gonna run a man two-fiddy a pop. I could see Neil outdoors at some Canadian folk fest for $50. But this is possibly the most intimate place Neil has played since Massey Hall during his Le Noise tour. And surely the most intimate place the Horse has played in decades. Choices, choices...
The good thing is, there are cheaper options available to people who want their Neil and the Horse fix in the fall.
The bad thing is, I am extremely tempted to throw financial responsibility to the wind, say FUCK THOSE CHEAP OPTIONS and go for what has serious potential to be the crown jewel of this tour -- the show at the Capitol.
