Man, I haven't heard from Howlin' Rain in at least four years. I'll ne checking that out and Joey Bada$$, Sleater-Kinney, Dodos, Justin Townes, Disappears. I still haven't listened to the new Decemberists and there are a couple others I'll listen to. Nothing on the list is getting me excited.
The last Howlin Rain album came out in '12. It seems longer than that.
Ethan did a few dates with Comets On Fire (which got my hopes up). I'm reallllly scared of a new Howlin Rain record, honestly. I hope I'm wrong though.
I'm really anticipating Catfish and the Bottlemen's album. I thought their EP was definitely worth listening to and I'm totally down for more from them. I'm also looking forward to checking out Fall Out Boy's album mostly because Save Rock and Roll was such a change from their typical sound. I'd like to see where they go from there
There is a great local band called the The Cush that is releasing an album on the 24th. here is a video they have already released for a song. It's some good psychedelic rock here.
