A listened to a lot of music this month. Some others I enjoyed were Disclosure (apparently one of the few), Chvrches, Duran Duran, Travis Scott, The Main Squeeze, Ryan Adams 1989, New Order, Kurt Vile, Steven A Clark, and The Avener (french deep house, as described by spotify). I had never heard of FIDLAR, Ought, Battles, Dead Weather or JR JR before coming here, and they were all alright. I couldn't get into Lana Del Rey or Beirut, and I didn't even finish the Drake/Future collab.

A couple of people posted it in Now Playing. Given who it was, I put it on my list but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Around New Years when Spotify told you your statistics for the last year and made a playlist of suggestions based on your habits, the second song on the album was the top song on my personal playlist. Apparently it released in Europe at the beginning of the year, but it was just released in America this month. I've posted about him a lot in Now Playing, but I'm glad you've actually gave it a listen. I think if people actually listen the first couple of songs will get them hooked. Unfortunately it doesn't look like he'll be touring in America very soon.
So far this week I've really enjoyed Deafheaven and Shopping. Wavves has some good songs on it. Eagles of Death Metal is OK. Autre Ne Veut sounded like he was trying too hard. I still want to listen to John Grant. I couldn't care less about Janet Jackson.

Shopping is fronted by the same woman who fronts Trash Kit. They sound similar, so if you liked that Trash Kit album last year, you'll like Shopping.
Seriously, if it were any other month, that Shopping album would have a good chance at winning for me. For Oct, I'm not even sure it will be in the top 3.
I could really get on board with this Deafheaven album if the singing wasn't just screaming. I've never been able to fully appreciate shrieking vocalists. The music itself is great, though.
Also, I can't believe I waited this long to listen to Julia Holter. This album is so fucking good
I am a little late on this April release but San Fermin's Jackrabbit is a great album. I think it was an April 2015 release. I saw them Friday and they're great live. I would say it's a mixture of The National and Chvrches (duo band). They are on the road with Alt-J.
Tracks I absolutely love: All the Same, Living My Life, Snakeskin, Ad Astra
Tracks I really like: Breaker, Duplex Planet, Take Care, Carrion
Meh tracks: Leather and Wood
After two listens in full, and numerous listens to the singles, I think it's a very enjoyable, solid album. I get a lot of positive vibes from it. Better than Cryptograms, Weird Era, and Monomania, but not on the level of Microcastle or Halycon Digest. It feels too short I think. 8/10

I really dislike Living My Life for some reason. Rest of the album is great though!

You're throwing around some strong statements there, homie.
Serious request: Name some albums that rock harder than FUZZ II in the 2010's.
They also rock harder live than any band on the planet right now. That Levitation set was balls to the fucking wall rock n roll. That's the only time I've seen them so far though. If every show is even comparable to that, then it's not much of a contest.
In case y'all forgot. Vaguely Ethnic by Running came out in the last 5 years. This is the whole album: https%3A//soundcloud.com/tellallyourfriendspr/sets/running-vaguely-ethnic

I dunno if what they do is considered rocking hard, but Lightning Bolt stands as the most insane show I've ever seen. But I guess Fuzz live is much easier and clearer to the ears. I'm 100% team Ty.
