Not sure. They did it that way in 2014. I'm liking the Mystikal/Juvenile/Fly Boy Keno b2b2b set. Mystikal always gets cancelled though, so who knows. I'm going to go back through some earlier posts and see what hit. Here's a link to the video which I hear is cool but haven't watched yet.
Chvrches Crystal Castles AlunaGeorge Art Department Mystikal b2b Juvenile b2b Fly Boy Keno Mija b2b Anna Lunoe Julio Bashmore J .Philip b2b Kill Frenzy Thugf*cker Le Youth
Only artists on the lineup worth a shit imo.
J. Phlip b2b Kill Frenzy will be the highlight of the festival, other than Mystikal b2b Juvenile
I didn't hit much. I got Baauer, Pretty Lights, Juvenile and Above & Beyond through process of elimination. @damoss got Nero.

That's likely going to be on the riverfront mini-stage. I don't know either, so thanks for the recommendation. I'll look into both. Initial Top 10 for me would be:
1. Pretty Lights 2. GRiZ 3. Juvenile x Mystikal x Fly Boi Keno 4. Baauer 5. A$AP Ferg 6. The Funk Hunters 7. Future 8. What So Not 9. Kid Cudi 10. Yellow Claw
There is way too much other research for me to do, but there is 3 months and a week and a half for that.
We are missing some alt rock still on this and Big Grams. I really thought that would happen. Glad I bought presale, will see what happens with the additions in January.
What's weird is if this was a couple years ago I'd be going crazy to see Pretty Lights and Kid Cudi on a lineup, now not so much. Especially Pretty Lights, like is Derek okay? He seems a bit....strung out. Kid Cudi I'll still be very happy to see in a festival setting though. Chvrches is definitely my number one right now. I've yet to see them live so that has me extra excited. Earl is probably my number 2. I also wish I could get excited over Crystal Castles but I guess it's not the same anymore.
Overall it isn't as stacked as last year for me. But last year is pretty hard to beat...unless they just bring Lil B back. But I also remember not being all in last year until the second phase was announced. I guess I have some music to research now.

Other than Bonnaroo Superjam last year, I haven't seen Pretty Lights since the live show at Champion's Square/Hangout in 2014. I skimmed a couple of recent sets, and they were sort of out there. I'm okay with it, because I like his studio work compared to many other headliner level DJs. It will be a big production, and even if he's out there, it should still be trippy.
Also don't forget that the Friday and Saturday officially sanctioned night shows will sell out. Last year was GRiZ w/ Preservation Hall Brass and STS9. Thursday's kickoff party was Trollphace and Snails. If the trend continues, they will have good after-fest shows until 3/4am.

Portugal the Man is playing. They tweeted they were going to be announced for a lineup at 11AM then deleted it. I guess they will be an artist addition in January
And for those unfamiliar with J. Phlip, here's her closing set from Movement Detroit 2014. Boys Noize was suppose to close but he cancelled last minute and she filled in last minute and absolutely crushed it.

It was probably a mistake. Didn't they play Buku this year?

Ah ok, you're probably right then. I didn't know they played last year. They tweeted pretty much the same exact thing as Pretty Lights, so I just assumed they'd be an addition. Weird mistake on their end though.
Super dumb question, what does b2b mean? Like back to back?
It stands for back to back but it doesn't mean one right after the other. Usually its two DJs that switch back and forth constantly throughout the set after every couple songs. Example:
Rumors out that Cudi might be canceling his tour. Not sure what that means for Buku, if anything, and it doesn't matter much to me. But he was 2 on the lineup.
Fwiw, way too much house DJs at the lower levels. NGHTMRE was one of the first ones I got to moving up from the bottom that played other than euro-dutch-Swedish--deep-whatever-house. It doesn't all suck, but this will end up being a hiphop and funk Bumu for me unless they bring in more bands.

damn he played the first show on that tour in Denver last night. It must have been terrible
Yeah I had a bad feeling about his tour anyways. I was very hesitant to buy tickets to see him in Atlanta, glad I made the right decision. Starting your tour days before your album is supposed to be released just doesn't seem like a great move. That being said I hope he stays on the Buku lineup. Three months is enough time for him to get his shit together.
edit: oh yeah and his "beef" or whatever with Lupe his so stupid. It's really just made me loose so much respect for Lupe. I think it even started over Cudi criticizing something Kendrick said, and Lupe was all stfu Cudi. Then something happened behind the scenes and now Lupe is threatening to fight Cudi or something. So stupid
