According to their bassist Christian Wargo, Fleet Foxes is getting back together.
"While this article was being fact-checked, Christian brought up that Fleet Foxes, after 5 years on hiatus, may be getting back together. He and singer Robin Pecknold had talked about it at a Joanna Newsom show in LA just a few days prior.
“It’s not, like, ‘announced’ or anything, and none of us really knew it was coming, but it’s happening,” said Christian. “Possibly unofficially at this stage, but it’s definitely a thing.”

new day of the dead track!
The Grateful Dead’s ‘Terrapin Station’, found on the album bearing the same name, was the first time the Dead unveiled a more symphonic and progressive sound. For this new version the Dessners enlisted Grizzly Bear’s Daniel Rossen and Christopher Bear along with members of their band The National to record their take of this iconic track for Day of the Dead. Also on hand to recreate 1977’s entire Terrapin Station were Josh Kaufman, Conrad Doucette, Sō Percussion, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus

Three years ago, the fingerpicking guitar virtuoso William Tyler released Impossible Truth, a ridiculously beautiful album of bucolic folk instrumentals. Tyler has just announced its follow-up; it’s called Modern Country, and it’s coming in a few months. This time around, Tyler worked with a few musicians like Phil Cook and Wilco’s Glenn Kotche, and he recorded at Justin Vernon’s April Base studio in Wisconsin.
