I'm slightly obsessed with that new Gambino song. Apparently his whole new album is in a similar vein with very little rapping. I've thought he was pretty corny for a while now but I'm getting excited for this one.
always been a Gambino fan even though I acknowledge his corniness. The new song is great. I do hope there is some rap though

According to people that saw him do the album live at the Pharos show it was mostly like this with only a couple verses of actual rapping.

It's truly wonderful that Metallica suddenly decided to be good again. I'm trying to think of another example of a band breaking out of a 25-year slump to come back this strong and I'm completely blanking.
I personally was thrilled with the leap in quality from St. Anger to Death Magnetic, but with this new record its like they took everything I dig about Metallica and crammed it into one album, but without sounding nostalgic or cheesy. loving it.

In my opinion, basically everything they created from Load through whatever the hell their last one was never rose above the level of "eh". I'll at least give them credit that the Load era was an attempt at something different for them, whereas the St. Anger/Death Magnetic/whatever sessions just sounded like amped-up Ozzfest dogshit. This new one is quite pleasing, though.
yeah I like it too. Not a fan of the title track. Imo it's cheesy and probably the weakest link

A year ago this week, Trent Reznor tweeted, "New NIN coming in 2016. Other stuff, too." When reminded of this tweet now, though, he's coy. "Those words did come out of my mouth, didn't they?" he says bluntly. Then he feigns surprise. "Oh, yeah, it's December, isn't it?" He pauses. "Just wait and see what happens."
