i know it's probably an unpopular opinion around here and i don't care, but would they actually book excision??
I could see them throwing Excision in a tent, his newest production is pretty wild. Have a feeling the soundbleed from his bass might be a bit much though.

I could see it, especially with him having released that Virus album awhile back. Personally, I would rather get 12th Planet, Kill the Noise, UZ, or bring Bassnectar back instead. The only way I'd wanna see him on the Farm was if he could bring the Paradox with him.

yea i've seen the paradox a couple times and he couldn't fit that in any tent at Roo. it'd have to be a small screen and there's no way he gets which stage at Roo. he'd ruin all the other sets for others lol
touring a brand new stage next year actually, but nobody here cares about that. carry on folks, sorry that lineup got me all excited so it can't be real. add APC on there or puscifer, man that'd be a killer Roo

God, having RHCP and QotSA would be more than enough for me. But I know if I got that lucky to have both of them there, they would definitely play different stages on the same day.
2013 was probably Roo's best year ever imo. There is no way that is a realistic barometer. If it is, count me in.
No love for 2006 here?
In no particular order:
Oysterhead, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Bright Eyes, Death Cab For Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Patton Oswalt, Elvis Costello & Allen Tousaint, Beck, Radiohead, Lewis Black, Zac Brown Band, Avett Brothers, Bela Fleck, Phil Lesh, Bonnie Raitt, Sonic Youth, Buddy Guy, Les Claypool, Ivan Neville, Dr. John, Demitri Martin, Robert Randolph, Cat Power, Nickel Creek, Superjam with Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Phil Lesh, Maro Benevento & Joe Russo. (And that's being pretty selective.)

This sounds like me when I was excited to see Ellie Goulding before Pearl Jam and then they rearranged the sets after the weather evacuation stuff. Needless to say I skipped Ellie to get into the pit for Pearl Jam lol

PK Sound outfitted all the speakers and power Datsik's new setup...I am going to check it out in Feb for another project I have. But even without that business side of things he's a fun show I would goto anyway.

yup i'll be catching him here in feb too. with crizzly and virtual riot, hell yea
In all seriousness, 2012 was a quality lineup that catered to everyone.
I did enjoy catching that Danny Brown > Yelawolf> Kendrick Lamar> Alabama Shakes set on Thursday night that year.
Also first time I ever heard Flying Lotus as I was just casually walking by the tent he was in on Friday.
i wandered over to Flying Lotus because I was getting sleepy and Umphreys wasn't giving me the energy I needed. Figured I'd check out this DJ all the inforoo people were talking about.
walked up right before he did the I Want You Back > Intergalactic. that was a good night.
more DJs should give the bottle of whiskey and a laptop stage setup a try.

Damn, wish I would have stuck around. We cleared camp and headed out sometime after Yelawolf.

Just my opinion. I think the '13 lineup just dwarfed the earlier lineups in size.
