They said we didn't deserve the spot in 2014 either
You didn't.
TCU Fan? Well clearly we proved we deserved it. Wisco was the #3 defense with the best RB in the country at the time. We whooped em with our 3rd string QB. Whooped Alabama. Whooped Oregon. We weren't even at full strength and we stomped our way through the playoffs. Can't wait to win it again.

You don't seem to understand the meaning of the "deserve." Go figure.

Ahhh, so the results trump the process, eh?
Ohio St getting in that year was a joke. Won two tough games fair and square but you got in because of the brand, not because of the football.
If JT Barrett continues "passing" the way he has been, you'll be lucky to score 20 against Clemson.
Ohio St fans should be thankful for Penn St fans, thats the only thing that keeps them from being the worst.
Matt Rhule moving from Temple to Baylor. This one, it's a bit of a shocker.
Getting Temple to consecutive ten win seasons is the real shocker.
Are you just referring to the lack of his Texas background or that he hadn't been brought up much in regards to that job?
I think anyone going to Baylor right now is making a mistake. I was happy to see Chad Morris stay at SMU. Normally Baylor is a better job, but not right now.

I'd say that's why they got a replacement that might appear like more of a reach to some. Your bigger name potential hires wouldn't touch that place with a twenty foot pole.

I'm trying to find the tweet but a CFB writer said that Fedora badly wanted this job and they didn't even talk to him. Guy with 2 10 win seasons at Temple or guy who has had a lot of success at UNC (with Texas roots)? Seems like an easy call to me.
I love Rhule, btw, but fit means everything in this game. As Dan Wolken tweeted, Al Golden brought Temple guys with him to Miami which led to a disaster. Rhule can't do the same.
Also jabrill peppers is definitely talented but he is so overhyped. I didn't think he belonged as a nagurski finalist, let alone the Heisman.
I've been following Peppers over the past few weeks because the Bengals seem to be likely for a top 10 pick, and he seems to be a perfect fit. We lost Reggie Nelson last year and didn't replace him, and we are also weak at LB and don't have a returner worth a damn.
A lot of the draft experts though are saying he shouldn't be a top 10 pick and will struggle to make the NFL leap. I know that they follow and understand a lot more about the game than I, but man...he jumps off the screen.
