I'm just trying to get ahead of the number of self-referential memes and petty spats we're going to need to generate in order to get this puppy to even 250 pages this year.
Just realized that I don't think I've ever listened to a Coldplay album cover to cover... not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
I'd be down for them taking the #2, but disappointed if they took the #1...
Fleetwood Mac - Coldplay - The Killers - Frank Ocean Arctic Monkeys - ODESZA - St Vincent - Future - Martin Garrix Anderson Paak. - Tyler the Creator - Foster the People - Beach House The War on Drugs - Young the Giant - Cut Copy - Bonobo - Paramore

Don't fret - I've been here only a short while, but its quite apparent there's at least 100 more pages worth of petty spats before June.
Pretty much the same they are every year. There’s nothing conflicting right now, but also no reason to believe they’ll be doing shows in the US last year. I could maybe see: Coldplay - Jay Z - The Killers - Frank Ocean or something
I don't care about Coldplay but every single person I've talked to who have seen them live say it's a great show.
I've always been a casual fan I guess. But me and my brother got cheap tickets to see them at the Rose Bowl a little over a week ago. It's quite the production man. The wristband thing (they give you a light up wristband on the way in which they control for color coordination, etc) was cool. 2 minutes into their first song there was confetti, pyro, lasers and shit. It's a lot - and I'd be real curious to see how much of that they would pull off at a fest.
I somehow ended up one of those wristbands that night and woke up to a light show while seeking refuge in my tent. Seemed like a cool deal, but not enough to motivate me to get back in the mud.

Lana released her UK/AUS dates yesterday and they end in April. Now I think she may be possible at Roo. Her TN show is early in the year which may fall outside a potential radius clause. Macklemore played Nashville on Jan 30th in 2016 and still played Roo that year.

I would be so down with this. If there was ever a time and place for me to see Coldplay, it would be at Bonnaroo. Frank Ocean > Coldplay would have me in my feelings all night.

Yeah I have a feeling she'll end up on the lineup regardless.

You should see them if they’re near you regardless tbh. I was in England last year and made a last second scramble to see them at Wembley and it was great.
Fleetwood Mac - Foo Fighters - Frank Ocean - Lana Del Ray Arctic Monkeys - ODESZA - Future - DJ Snake - St Vincent - Anderson .Paak
Coldplay - Jay-Z - Calvin Harris - Phoenix The Chainsmokers - My Morning Jacket - Blink 182 - The 1975 - Run the Jewels - The Flaming Lips
Number one easily. I can live with just Lana and DJ Snake, but Calvin Harris, Chainsmokers, Blink, the 1975 and flaming lips take up too many high spots for acts I don't give a shit about

Not gonna lie... the idea of Blink-182 and whoever the hell "Depeche Mode" is taking up headliners spots makes me wanna shoot myself. I've ditched bonnaroo too many years because of the crap lineups... However, i love the sound of Two Door Cinema Club (i missed them at the tabernacle) and Bastille (they always put on a good show) and even though I don't listen to Bruno Mars i know he's a hell of a performer. I'm just praying for Flume (who is fking amazing i saw him at the tabernacle in september) and Lorde... I haven't checked their concert dates but I also know ODESZA is dropping a new album AND just announced a world tour, and they're my all time favorite so that would secure my ticket right there.. The Weeknd would also secure my ticket, saw him at Philips Arena in may and i'd kill to see him again. anyways... ignore my lameass additions to this thread. we won't need to discuss any of this in 5 days
Depeche Mode are a clear #1 in people's minds because of some of the bands they've been ahead of at festivals in the past, but I'm not sure if they actually are bigger in the US than bands like The Cure and Radiohead, for example. I think they'd be behind Fleetwood Mac at Roo and pretty much neck-and-neck with Drake.

Yall can go ahead and take The 1975 off your mocks. They're on a hiatus until next summer
