I had no idea enough people cared about The Revialists for them to headline Radio City.
Ditto. They just played the Greek in LA, which I thought seemed way too big for them. I wonder what their play is...maybe they make more $ by selling fewer tickets at higher prices?

They played Summerstage in 2017 and did two nights at Beacon earlier this year so I guess they have the fanbase. Always just seemed kind of bland to me.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
UPCOMING SHOWS 6/8 and maybe 6/9 - Governors Ball 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/11 - St. Vincent @ Brooklyn Paramount 9/19 - Stars @ Music Hall of Williamsburg 9/20 - Khruangbin @ Forest Hills
I'm always amazed how many of you buy tickets at the on-sale
I don't remember the last ticket I bought further out than a week before the show...
I've started to take this approach as well knowing the market here for nearly 20 years. I saw the big open gap in Thom Yorke's dates and just thought "yeah....no need to jump on this now." Added to that fact was that the King's Theater shows weren't in super high demand even though they sold out and, as much as I love Radiohead, Thom Yorke's solo material tends to be a bit cold and glitchy at times even if it's still good. Also, after spending decades going to 100+ shows/year, I don't like having my calendar jam-packed anymore because then it ends up feeling like a chore so I like to leave things up to choice unless it's a big underplay that I know will be hugely in demand or something I'm 100% committed to going to.
I don't see anything to corroborate it yet, but I just got an OhMyRockness alert that Thom Yorke's adding another Hammerstein date for April 1st.
Yep, and it was an easy get! I was going to sit Thom out this go round and hadn't done the other sales but if he's going to keep putting on shows then he must want me there, lol.

I think I'll still hold out and try my luck on the secondary market closer to the show. Stubhub tix for his Santa Barbara show tonight are currently $15.

This is interesting. I know nothing about the show but may look into this just for the experience and to do a small bit that I can on weekends. Not even a big David Byrne fan (I love what I know but I don't know much). Thanks for the heads up.
