"Notably, considering Buttigieg’s abysmally low polling numbers among black and Hispanics voters, Adler said he has also introduced his friend to various local community leaders of color. (Adler said he couldn’t remember specific names.)"
Wow. There's really some dogshit discourse going around tonight regarding Harris.
In what way? I haven't paid much attention. Most I saw was earlier in the day some people online saying that Biden would pick her as a VP but that was pure speculation

Just the overall attitude of everyone. People celebrating even though her dropping out isn't really helping their candidate. The Khive pitching a fit claiming they won't vote for anyone now. The GOP trolls celebrating Tulsi. It's just dumb. Some of the Khive are even claiming it was Berniebros that tricked black people into not supporting her. I mean, that's a pretty racist claim itself.
The Tulsi people giving her all the credit are absolute dolts. She might have the biggest percentage of idiot supporters that don't seem to understand basic political concepts. Anyway, her campaign was an internal mess. We've known that for awhile. The debates have had several shit moments for Biden and he hasn't tanked. If you want to credit the "Kamala is a cop" stuff on putting her off-guard that credit goes to all the Cali activists who were putting all that info out back in the Spring.
Like I hate the Khive too and I think it's funny when they meltdown but they aren't Kamala and they aren't average supporters. People waste so much time on this dumb shit when they should be focused on taking down Biden.

Tulsi obliterated Kamala on stage while Kamala was in her prime. Right after that Kamala started dropping in the polls. Could have been a coincidence of course, but I don’t see why you’d be particularly mad at that hypothesis.

I don’t think Kamala was better than Pete in any meaningful way, and I am very content with her dropping out. She embodied all of the wrong strategies that exist on the left. She was more focused on hating Trump than presenting a compelling alternative vision for the country. Her identity seemed to matter more than policy. And more than anything it just looked like she was trying to lecture us every time she was on stage. She honestly may have been a fine president, but I think she would have lost badly in the general.

lol I'm not mad. I just find it irritating that Tulsi fans apparently have nothing else to talk about out of her entire campaign. I enjoy seeing politicians get their ass handed to them as much as anyone but I like move on to more important things after 5 minutes or so. I'm actually more interested in how we are going to keep the world from burning, for example. If your politician can't put forth good policy and actually talk about it without coming across like a space-cadet then I care even less to hear about how they DESTROYED someone in a debate.
If by "in her prime" you mean when she polled the best you're two weeks behind according to RCP's average. So no, Tulsi didn't ruin her the way some folks like to claim. Her polling average was 15 at her height(July 15) and was already down to 10.5 by the night Tulsi owned her(July 31st). The average only fell 2.5 points in the two weeks after that debate. Then gradually bottomed out. So there were other things going on.
BTW, I agree that she ended up being a bad candidate. Even when she had good ideas they got tossed aside for her weird little crusades. Her campaign struggled to define her message and policies. As I've already mentioned, the campaign had major internal issues. Remember, late July and early August is when she started releasing policies that got heavily dogged. I know I mentioned it in here and I also said her M4A flip-flopping was going to cost her because it showed her to just be a typical politician willing to say anything. So even her attempts to rebound with policy were bad.
Her strategy was partly relying on African American support in the southern states and she never did really connect and take that voting bloc from Biden. In fact, if you look at the weeks before the Tulsi moment on RCP's graph, her downturn corresponds with an uptick for Biden. Over a longer time-span, Warren is slowly rising and taken her support in the Summer as well. Then Pete probably started taking from her as well.
I think you could maybe argue Tulsi helped sealed the deal in the public's eye and according to that NYT article donors started to worry then. That's a big deal but it seems clear her whole campaign was a house of cards. I'd also again mention that activists in Cali had been spreading the word about her record, so a lot of that info was available to the public and had turned a lot of folks against her long before the debates. What's funny is they'd prepped her for this question and she apparently still got caught off guard.
One interesting take that I saw, that this is both terrible coordination but at least them not collaborating with Super-PACs to define where the money is going to.
With the Pelosi press confrontation, I am really looking forward to the conservative narrative that will get pushed this weekend about how Dems are too emotional and petty to lead.
He was right to call that dude out for being a conspiracy theory peddling liar. Too bad he followed it up with the IQ test/push up contest shit, 1 step forward 2 steps back.
Fitting endorsement given that Kerry vs Bush is a great example of what Biden vs Trump would look like.
Pete's a flash in the pan. Biden is the final boss of the primary. He can barely speak and when he does it's embarrassing. His fucking record is truly horrible. If we can't collective take out this dipshit then maybe we deserve what's coming.

It's interesting because that would be illegal but surely nobody believes that they don't have workarounds.
It should infuriate more people that there are folks out there who can just sling around thousands and thousands of dollars without some centralized plan. You see it all the time in primaries. Rich people just burn through money like it's all a game.

On this note, everyone should go watch the "Why Billionaires Won't Save Us" episode of the Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. It might ruin you on Batman though.

Batman does suck as a human being. It's true.
But really, I saw a clip from that. I'll go look for the whole thing.
LOL So much drama right now. Everyone is unloading on Pete. Mayo's press secretary is fighting with Warren.
I'm bad to over-exaggerate and compare our society to Grand Theft Auto. But this is literally the subroutines of the cops in GTA.
No strategy or long-term plan. No regard for public safety. Firing rounds directly at civilians. Fucking insanity. And for what, jewelry thieves? Nobody's life is worth the private property of some goddamn jewelry store or UPS package. Let them fucking have it if that's the best option.
