Many would say that mid November is a bit early for awards season (it objectively is), but many films that are in contention, or at least being tracked by Gold Derby, have been released or are being released very soon.
Here is the current top 10 from Gold Derby (as of 11/13), which will see shakeups once end of the year lists and critics awards start coming out in a couple of weeks:
1: The Power of the Dog 2: Belfast 3: King Richard 4: Dune 5: The Tragedy of Macbeth 6: Nightmare Alley 7: Licorice Pizza 8: CODA 9: West Side Story 10: House of Gucci
As usual, the top few are ones that have already been seen and won awards in the festival circuit, while the bottom bunch are usually unseen but from past awards-nominated auteurs.
The only one in this list I've seen is Dune. I'll see Belfast later this coming week. King Richard hits HBO Max (and theaters) on Friday, while The Power of the Dog hits Netflix on December 1st. CODA is currently on AppleTV+.
11: Spencer 12: The Lost Daughter 13: Parallel Mothers 14: tick, tick...Boom! 15: Don't Look Up 16: Mass 17: C'mon C'mon 18: Passing 19: The Last Duel 20: No Time to Die 21: The French Dispatch 22: Cyrano 23: Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 24: A Hero 25: The Hand of God 26: In the Heights 27: Respect 28: Pig 29: The Worst Person in the World 30: The Woman in the Window
Some of these may make their way into the top 10 after they've been seen, while already-released ones could if they do well in the critics lists and awards.

Off the top list all I've seen is Dune. I'll have to check out CODA and King Richard this week. I really wanted to finish reading Nightmare Alley before the movie comes out... I think I still have time.
Spencer was great. I was thinking the whole time that the music was so haunting and interesting and sure enough up comes Jonny Greenwood's name in the end credits.

Seems very possible that Greenwood gets multiple noms considering he scored Spencer, The Power of The Dog and Licorice Pizza.

I was going to watch CODA last night but the trailer just looked too god damn heart-warming for me so I passed and watched the 2019 Disc Golf Championship instead. I'm going to see Power of the Dog in theaters tonight, looks way more up my alley.
Will Smith - King Richard Andrew Garfield - tick, tick…Boom! Benedict Cumberbatch - The Power of the Dog Leonardo DiCaprio - Don’t Look Up Denzel Washington - The Tragedy of Macbeth Joaquin Phoenix - C’mon C’mon Javier Bardem - Being the Ricardos Simon Rex - Red Rocket Adam Driver - House of Gucci Bradley Cooper - Nightmare Alley Peter Dinklage - Cyrano Dev Patel - The Green Knight
Licorice Pizza killing it with that 100% tomatometer.
Licorice Pizza was already my most anticipated film of the year but all of the glowing reviews have only made me more excited. I imagine it will lose it's 100% once Armond White reviews it for the National Review since he hates everything.

I haven't really followed movie discourse on the internet in about a decade but even I know Armond White is a bitch

He is so committed to the bit it is almost impressive.
King Richard was a pretty good by-the-book sports biopic. Definitely Will Smith's best performance in two decades. I'd say it's his year but waiting to see Denzel and Cumberbatch before I make my final guess. It was also really awesome to see Jon Bernthal play a warmer, non tough-guy role like this. He nailed it too.

I agree, I liked it way more than I thought I would. As much as Will Smith can be cringy his nails it in this role.

Is it just for me, or do this year's awards movies feel even more obscure than last year's slate?
The only real shocker I see is Maggie Gyllenhaal getting in over PTA for director. That and the lack of love for Tragedy of Macbeth.
As per last year's controversy, it kind of sucks Best Actress is almost completely white when Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Hudson were tracking so well. I don't know how much improvement the HFPA was able to make in their membership in only one year though.

No Tragedy of Macbeth nominations are a little odd considering the great early reviews its gotten so far. I'm bias cause I love the Coen's, but I'll definitely wait until seeing it to say whether it was deserving or not... but damn, no one best movie nom yet that I've seen.
