Doing a MMJ run the weekend of this. Kinda hoping the lineup is mediocre so I don't have FOMO. Such a pleasant festival to attend when the weather is nice. Really good vibes and the farm is wonderful.
I'm hoping for The Smashing Pumpkins. Kings of Leon are local and would make sense given they have no dates that weekend (yet) and are at B&B so festivals are on the agenda. Pearl Jam and The Killers are both definitely out as they are in Nashville the weekend prior.
To be honest this fest is so easy for us logistically relative to all others that it really doesn't matter who they get. We'll be there.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow. They're calling it 'blind' and not 'early bird' so no idea if this means you're getting a discount by purchasing pre-lineup drop or not. I'm just hoping the VIP tickets are cheaper this year but I doubt it. When you've got a festival in one of the wealthiest counties in the country you might as well swing for the fences. Value is meaningless here.

Right on the edge of Murfreesboro as you head towards Franklin. You're local, right?
We did VIP early bird the rain out year and were actually glad to get our money back on that one. The lineup was fine but the amenities kind of sucked. Lines were already ridiculously long just before the Counting Crows set and I also really disliked that we couldn't take our drinks out of the VIP area. That's a really good walk around and mingle/peruse the shops festival so we felt like that was an unexpected negative. Anyway, the prices got jacked up tremendously last year and no way we'd pay for it there at this point. Kind of crazy that you can get a 3 day with an arguably more significant line up at Shaky Knees for what I'm guessing will be about half the price of this fest. We'll see tomorrow.

Hah you know I said earlier we always buy early bird to save money. This is the kind of lineup that ensures I never do that again. It doesn’t align at all with anything they’ve done previously.
We’ll still have a good time I’m sure but they went about as far away as rock as possible which is terrible for me. I wonder if it’s because they’re directly competing with louder than life this year instead of bourbon and beyond?
i think my issue with this lineup is that there’s a lot of people on here that i listen to but no one i would be particularly excited to see. outside of the top 3 there’s nothing here that jumps out at me. if i was local i’d go but not worth it to travel.
This lineup should be the slayer of your hopes and dreams. Good grief it's bad. There's no punch.
