Similar to a fantasy football league, let's play Fantasy Festival! Each participant will draft 30 acts, in an attempt to predict the acts playing the 30 major multi-genre music festivals in North America in 2024. Each festival your acts appear on will be worth the following number of points:

3 bonus points will be awarded for headliners, and 1 point for acts on the second line or otherwise "featured".
To throw a more active twist into the game, only 20 of your 30 acts will be "active" at any time. Lineups can be changed at any time, but whatever you have set at the time a real festival lineup drops will determine how many points you get. Those January days where multiple lineups drop on the same day will be really exciting, and as long as your lineup is set before the official poster drops, you will get your points!
Free agency system will be add/drop with FAAB, specific rules to come later.
All acts are eligible regardless of activity level. If you wanna draft Daft Punk or Prince, go for it at your own risk. Points are only awarded to the name that shows up on the poster, so for example Jack White and The Raconteurs are two separately draftable acts. DJs that show up in b2b's count as if they're booked solo, unless it is a named act such as Rezzmau5. Nathaniel Rateliff counts whether or not the Night Sweats are there, but Marcus Mumford and Mumford & Sons are separate.
Participants limited to 20, this game will be a several months long commitment so only sign up if you're in for the long haul. I will accept feedback on the rules and point values I've set so far, but would like to have them locked in before drafting starts. No time limit for pick during the first round, but 3 hours 9a-9p Eastern otherwise.
I thought about this a little more, and think it should be optional. Like a winner takes all pool, only those who throw money in are eligible, but anyone can play the game without involving money.
