Fun fact: Quahog, Rhode Island (of Family Guy fame) isn't an actual town. It's somewhat of a combo of the cities of Cranston and Warwick - just outside Providence.

A quahog is a large clam native to the area.
it's been a long time since i've seen it so it might be terrible but i loved this movie.
i still say out loud all the time "you hit a pahked cap cah". don't even know if that is the correct quote or not.
and in my memory the dean guy reading the letter from drugs delaney is one of the great comedy movie scenes of the 90s.
it's possible as a weed smoking southerner i just loved the new england accents and the weed.
Clams are delicious, even if they aren't crabs. Lots of fried clams, please.
Arthur Treacher's, the fish n' chips chain that once had like 800 locations, reopened one early in 2023. there are now 2, one near Akron that was the only one remaining, and now one near Cleveland that closed a couple years ago. Sadly, I don't think they serve clams currently, although the owner of the re-opened location said they had plans to add them at some point. They may have clam chowder - the proper kind, creamy New England.
2 good deeds for the day. An old guy dropped a $20.00 at the farm market, so I picked it up and handed it back to him. Then another dude dropped his wallet behind him and I hooked that back up too. I didn’t buy shit today but the pasta dude had this relatively new radiator shaped pasta which I think has the Italian word for radiator for the name of that pasta. Kid bought us a pupusa from the Honduran homemade pupusa place, a jar of homemade strawberry peanut butter from the nut butter people and 3 donuts from papa’s which are always pretty good and a iced coffee from some small time roasters. It was a good walk over there.
