This is way too far away for me to attend (I despise flying), but this is a must for anyone who loves classic 60's and 70's soul, with a dash of 80's R&B and a few genre curveballs added for variety.
Pretty much every living soul great from that era is performing (along with a lot of groups whose signature lead singers passed away years ago, like The Four Tops and The Spinners.)
It seems like a When We Were Young-structured one-day megafest with short sets and many stages.
If they did an east coast edition in Philadelphia or NYC, I'd make the trip.
(I'm so glad that I caught so many of the soul greats when I was younger: Al Green (2), Smokey Robinson (2), The Temptations reunion tour with Ruffin * Kendricks * Edwards, The Impressions reunion tour with Curtis Mayfield and Jerry Butler, The Four Tops with Levi Stubbs, Wilson Pickett, Bobby Womack, The Marvelettes, James Brown (2), and Marvin Gaye. I'm probably forgetting one or two.)

Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, Family Stone, Martha, Revolution, Mavis Staples, Cropper-Booker T, Gloria Gaynor, Earth Wind Fire, Bootsy, James Brown alumni, Grace Jones are the ones I see missing. Temps & Tour Tops are still bookable with one OG member each. A George Moroder DJ set has more 70s R&B cred as many names here.
