Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
i took a shower every morning because I'm not awake until i shower! my hair also goes to 100% crap because its naturally curly. i didn't stay clean for very long, but i felt really refreshed for the day! I would usually wake up around 8 am. the lines weren't bad, however later in the day it seemed like they got very long. The showers had hot water too! ;D
Because we purchased Rothbury tickets, we are going once again GA....... I told hubby earlier when we had planned Roo only, VIP ONLY! and he was kool with that!! now we got both, we going GA for both.....OMG my poor Feet!
I'll shower for sure this year but didn't last year and used a large container filled with water to give myself a wash. It worked so well! If you have the room in your vehicle, bring a big 5 gallon camping jug and fill it with water like from your hotel the nite before or whatever..... You just don't want to have to lug it across Bonnaroo's 700 acres. but its a camping jug and you can use it only for washing water etc....... works well!
All ya need is a sewing machine and a little time. I make the front of the quilt, then I sew it right onto an old quilt so I save on time. Also it uses up old quilts that I would possible throw out. I will make something for this year but I think what I'll do will be applique'ing a shade for our sundome. Its much easier and fast!!!

i'm allergic to grass so i have to have something to sit on so i was thinking of asking my aunt to make me a really small, light quilt. Last year I had one of those large towels that rolls up and ties and has a pillow on the end and it worked really really well, i just cant find it. boo.
i brought a crazy creek chair last year and it saved my back!! ;D we also have a waterproof blanket that folds up pretty small, both fit on a pack. I think we got the blanket at walmart for $10!
i am a new poster, but have been lurking for awhile. i figured since i am snowed in i might as well make good use of my time .
this is by far my favorite thread. this will be my third year at bonnaroo. i have made it through both years without a real shower, just using water and soap and shampoo we have brought along. if you let the water set up in the sun it's warm and the bird bath way is still pretty refreshing. i usually just get the sample size soaps and shampoos something that smells really good. even though i'm not enjoying a real shower, the good smells makes me feel better!
hmm that would definitely be easier to use... i might just cut up a sheet pretty small and throw it in my bag..
i'll let you know if i find anything better! and to think i was the only one with crazy allergies.. the rashes on the back of your thighs are the worst!
Do they still make Neat Sheets? I used to see them everywhere, but haven't as of late. Relatively inexpensive and disposable if they get too gross, they had a laminated side and cloth on the other side.
We're going to bring Neat Sheets but I also think we might bring a tie-dyed full size sheet... its lightweight and comfy to sit on, and doesn't take up too much space in a backpack.

i just get REALLY itchy, it starts in my hands if theyre touching the grass, and then my legs and they get really red but the itching is out of control. gte sheet is a good idea, nice and small.

I don't really have much to offer to this discussion quite yet because I'm still reading up on all of the old posts. But I must say that I absolutely love what I've read so far. I was so concerned and excited about what to bring with me to my very first Bonnaroo and this thread is exactly what I was looking for. Needless to say you ladies didn't completely assuage my fears, now I'm struggling to save up enough funds to look half as cute as all of you guys will. I was so excited to see that soulflower and hippieshop made some appearances in the conversation here. I've been a big fan of them for so long and I love that I've found some like-minded fashionistas. Anyways, I hope I can contribute more insightful stuff soon. I just wanted to let you guys know that I love the thread and you guys seem like such awesome chicks. It's gotten me way excited for my first Bonnaroo experience!

welcome!! have some karma....glad you like the girly fashion thread...i can't get enough! look forward to seeing you at roo this year, and no worries, it's not a fashion contest...we'll all be sweaty and dirty, but it's fun to find cute clothes to wear to roo! glad you will be joining us on the farm ;D
For all the sewers out there, Joann's has fabric that is elasticized/smocked at the top. It comes in a sold jersey and printed cotton (woven). Very cute patterns and all you'd have to do is seam it and hem it and, voila, instant strapless sundress!

i know this is random but just had to share. i'm obsessed with the victoria's secret lip plumpers. i'm not even sure if they work, but the tingle feeling is kind of addicting and i like the way it looks/feels.

yeah when i heard about them i thought the idea sounded kind of stupid and silly, but then i remembered that an ex once told me if he could change anything on me pysically, he wished i had fuller lips and i'd heard people rave about the VS ones so i just thought i'd give it a try.
i think he asked me the question about him, and then replied with that without me asking him to. i mean, i have lips, lol.
Yikes. The only answer there is to that question, whomever asked it, is "Nothing honey. I love you just as you are." But wow. I'd sure never tell someone their problem was physical. We are our own worst critics. If someone I cared about told me something like that, I'd absolutely obsess about it. Sure, I love myself and I'm happy with who I am, but it would still bug in the extreme.
