Anyone think about doing this for late night saturday? Last year it was the Duo and some of the guys from Umphrey's I believe. I am thinking about hitting this up for awhile as part of my late night saturday wanderings. If anyone went last year and would like to tell stories of whats it like I would be incredibly grateful.

This is quite ridiculous I know have 4 killer options for Saturday Late night...not to mention Sahsa bringing me into Daylight...as long as they dont schedule ANYTHING against Umphrey's/Bisco late night on friday I'm fine

I was at last year's and it was my favorite time of the whole weekend. It was in the comedy tent which is fairly small so it was only about 500 people. The band all wore mexican wrestler maks and capes and they really got into it. They kept working the crowd and they brought it all to a head at the end by flying into a hard version of Zeppelin's Immigrant Song. The place went nuts. It had a small club feel. They originally said only costumed rooers were allowed in but it looked like there weren't enough people incostume so they just started letting anyone in who wandered by. And yes, it ended up being Marco Benevento from the Benevento-Russo Duo on keyboard, Darren Pujalet from Particle on drums, Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger from Umphrey’s McGee on guitar and bass. (Yes Cinninger was on bass for this!)
Up to now, I really didn't hear much about this. Did they even announce who was playing last year or was it like Superjam and you just know when you get there?

Ooooo, how exciting. It's totally gonna be Galactic with special guest Mayor Ray Nagin as the Grand Marshall.
You are correct about Ray Nagin being there... For Saturday night only, the comedy tent holding the Masquerade Ball will be known as "Chocolate City" and we will all be his chocolate people.

It NEEDS to be Ray Nagin w/ P-FUNK, since "Chocolate City" is a P-Funk song anyway. But if they do that, they needs to let me know, so I don't waste my time anywhere else while Dr. Funkenstein is playing.

I was at bonnaroo the last couple years but never went to one of these...Wish i was there last year. and I'd love to see Galactic doing something this year. The show they put on in 04' in the rain was incredible.
