Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am hoping for a Frames return as well. Here is one too. I don't know if it has been mentioned. The Avetts are tourning with Blues Traveler after Roo. They have no dates up but I scored this off the venue site.
Didn't see this elsewhere, but I found this on MySpace...
Jeff Workman has Bonnaroo dates listed on his MySpace. He plays and tours with a band named Ridge Runner, but they don't have Bonnaroo listed on their site.

i'd be suprised and shocked if this jeff workman guy plays bonnaroo. why do i say this? i checked out his myspace, and i'm from northern kentucky, about 5 minutes from cincinnati, which is where he is apparently from. i know a lot about the local music scene here, and i've never heard of him or his band. not that any of that means anything, but the venues listed on his tourdates suck. peecox? j's sports bar? are you kidding me? those aren't exactly real music venues. what those places are, are shitholes in the wall. if you want to check out local music in cincinnati/indiana/northern kentucky you don't go to peecox or j's sports bar. now, of course i could be wrong in all of this and he could be playing a cafe at bonnaroo. but if bonnaroo went out of there way to book a band, that first, isn't popular at all in this area, a band that plays tiny ass bars to maybe 50 people, then whoever is booking for bonnaroo missed the real talent here in cincinnati. there is plenty of talent here in cincinnati that's not called ridge runner or jeff workman. we just had several bands come back from SXSW.
and another thing about this jeff workman/ridge runner - if he's so popular in our area that he's playing bonnaroo, why does he play shitty venues like peecox, and why has he never played at cincinnati's version of SXSW which is called MidPoint Music Festival, basically the SXSW of the midwest. so who's the dumbass that booked these guys and skipped the real talent here in cincy?
and to whoever books the bands at bonnaroo, please read this:
if you're checking out the music scene in cincinnati to get bands to play bonnaroo, here are some bands you may have already heard of. these bands play the good venues here in cincinnati/nky:
500 miles to memphis (fairly well known around texas, the midwest and the south)
over the rhine (they are probably the best band to ever come out of cincinnati, unless you think blessid union of souls or nick lachey are better, which they're not)
kim taylor (gets played a lot on npr, world cafe, and late last year she opened for josh ritter, and ben solee, a member of abigail washburn's sparrow quartet joined her on the cello during her set)
wussy bad veins turnbull ac's sonny moorman ric hordinski nathan holscher kevin fox jake speed fizzgig buckra
those are just a handful of the good bands we have here in cincinnati. they play nice, big venues where a lot of people come out to see them. they don't play shitty bars like peecox and they don't play sports bars. if you know anything about where to find good music, especially music that is of the caliber to play the biggest music festival in the country, you don't come to cincinnati to get a band like jeff workman or ridge runner. and if you do, then you have no idea how to do your job.

I just saw her like a month ago open for Grace Potter. Amazing vocals. amazing period. I am hoping she and the Buffalo Killers are a part of the cafe' line up.

Person L, which is the side project of the lead singer of the Starting Line might be playing. TSL recently released a press announcement saying they were going on hiatus, and within the article it said that Person L will possibly be playing Roo.
I don't know if anyone cares, but I figured, this would be the place to post it.
Person L Added to Bonnaroo Posted on 03-23-08 by Julia Conny Person L has been added to Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, TN on June 12th to 15th. He will be appearing on the Troo Music Lounge stage.
wouldn't be so sure about that. 311 has around 8 studio albums, I've seen them 4 times in the past 7 years and each show has been quite different (selection of songs, order, album emphasis etc). I still think they'd impress quite a few people at 'roo who have only heard their radio-play stuff. bring 'em on with primus for the last round of ads
oh don't worry i'm not. basically i'm not going to stop believing that led zep will be there until tuesday after the fest is all over. not even monday cause there might still be time for them to surprise us then...
