I wouldn't want to have to carry loads of CDs back to my tent, but there might be a couple of things I wouldn't be able to find in Mexico (like Les Claypool's new CD). So do they sell CDs and t-shirts in 'roo as well?
Oh, my friend you can buy anything that your heart could desire at Bonnaroo. Inside sure they sell the usual cds and tshirts. But on Shakedown you can find anything. And I do mean anything. So, I would bring some extra cash just in case.
;D ;DI bought a great King of the Hill cartoon book from some girl on shakedown st, she set up a mini flea market of all kind of great stuff, I also got some great glass pieces, new t-shirts...one vendor dropped one in the mud and it was a little muddy, and he gave me it for $5.00.....One of the most enjoyable moments of the festival is buying some great crap, I plan on doing a lot of shopping this year again....and especially the "good stuff"
Wait until Sunday for anything you don't need right then, everything, and i mean EVERYTHING is at a discount, people need cash to get home, so, glass, grass, but i don't think ass, is on sale, and schwag beer is free.

And the unofficial Roo shirts are often hilariously bad. One last year had several bands listed two or three times on the back, and more than a few had misspellings.
Always check it out sober before you shell out any cash.

Question: Couldn't you get anything not available in Mexico off the 'net?
Most stuff, yeah. Amazon is great. But shipping costs are often more expensive than the items themselves (and that, besides being expensive, is a psychological thing I find. I bet you'd buy elss CDs if taking them home were more expensive than the CDs themselves). So yep, I do buy stuff through amazon, but whenever I can I buy CDs in the US (which are also usually cheaper than in Mexico).
