So I woke up early today and dropped the gf off at the airport for a trip. While I was sorry to see her go, I was eager to get home and make myself a 10:00 drink. There are few things in this world better than a bucket of margarita mix, some good ol' fashioned Cuervo, and plastic margarita glasses.

Lucky. I haven't had a drink or a smoke in over a week now. Been a working fool. Tonight will be my 8th out of 9 straight nights. I'm sure there's somebody else who has it worse off, but it doesn't feel that way. (almost there almost there almost there)
Sorry Dan. My roommate is working up till Wednesday, 8:30pm-???? and his first night on this was last Wed. He feels your pain, but he has to to have money for roo.
This thread has lead to me pondering this question: What is the earliest y'all have been drunk in the morning? 6:30 for me. Do I have a problem?

when i got off at 3 today it was my last day of work until after roo!!! it was also my 13th day of work in a row, so i'm ready for a vacation
edit: the only time i've gotten drunk early in the morning was when i was still up from the night before.
actually, no, i woke up at 7 on my friends birthday becuase i thought i needed a ride home with some people going to work but ended up staying at his house finishing off the keg from the night before. we all passed back out around 9 though and started round 2 at like 11

I saw this on the Burning Man website a few days ago, and this made me think of it... bar drinks, camping style!
Powdered punch Gatorade, Wyler's Lemonade, iced tea, and that old favorite, Tang (the astronauts drank it!) come powdered, and you can't pack drinks more efficiently than that. All you add is water. Or vodka. Or tequila.
Tang Screwdriver Fill a tall glass with ice and vodka. Add two teaspoons of powdered Tang. Stir it up, darlin'!
Gatorade Margarita Salt the rim. Plunk ice in the glass. Add two teaspoons of powdered Gatorade. Tequila to taste. Swizzle and sizzle!
Sputnik Tea 2 c. tang (medium jar) 1 c. instant iced tea 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground cloves Mix and keep dry. To serve mix 2 tsp. to 1 cup hot water. Add brandy for an extraterrestrial treat!
