Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Airline and I were just talking about whether Macca was over or underappreciated in chat a week or so ago. If anything, McCartney was MORE complex musically than Lennon. Lennon was the more charismatic one, but Paul was pretty weird and experimental musically. RAM is exhibit A in that regard. If anything, Macca doesn't get enough credit for that.

I drink more beer and whiskey than wine. But I drink quite a bit of wine. Yet I don't form any allegiances. I live in California, so I love California wines. Paso Robles does amazing Bordeaux blends. But I also love French wines. They, too, have a way with Bordeauxs. You could even argue they invented them. Then there are the Italians. I'm less familiar with their varieties. But who doesn't love a good Montepulciano? Say it with me: Montepulciano. I get so perplexed. That's why I ordered a Guinness.

I'm sticking with cheap gas station wine tonight. Nothing but the best for me!

Just because I am a wino- doesn't mean that I am a connoisseur. I'll never spend more than 17ish on a bottle that I am drinking alone. Most of the time I choose the bottle on random and couldn't even tell you the next day what I drank.
Also, this is my best friend:
And this is what I call my "juice box". I buy them EXTREMELY often. Like yesterday when I went for a hike at the Reservoir.

Problem Dog: I am the same way. Not a clue how to choose a "good" wine. I drink what is convenient. If I am drinking wine then it is absolutely out of convenience of the gas station. If I am REALLY on a mission, it's SoCo and a bottle of Jager. SoCo/Jager was last night, wine is tonight.
Bonzai: I really am your estranged cousin. Will you get outta my head already?!? Can we please drink some cheap wine together one day?

Side note: You know you are actually desperate for liquor when you look in your glass you were drinking out of last night to see if you accidentally left any.

ha....still drinking....between my dog panting and staring at me (from walking to go get cigs and more wine), this hot pocket, and a show about a kid wanting to be a pirate, I don't know what's more interesting...
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
