I love Dexter. I think this season has been even better than the first one. I can't wait for the next episode because how the hell is he going to get out of this one...... Also Deb's description of Lyla - Miss Pardon My Tits - was awesome

changed the thread title so feel free to discuss whatever you want about this season. anyone have any theories on where this is going in the last 4 episodes. I guess some possibilities (although its looking like this may be the last season) are Doakes being framed...or something secret about Lundy. My guess is that he's been on to Dex and he's hooking up with Deb to try and obtain info. Either way it seems like Deb might have to make a choice somehow between Lundy and Dex...poor girl.

Just wow at tonight's episode!!!
I thought tonight was the season finale but I guess there are 3 more to go. What a great show. This has taken over from Weeds as being my favorite show.

great episode. i laughed so hard when they were telling dexter that doakes was the primary suspect and he said something like 'yeah, that'll piss him off.' I cant believe there are still 3 episodes left. I am still of the opinion that this should be the last season. I love this show but it might actually be nice for a show to end while its soo good instead of dragging it out. and honestly, where are they going to go next if he doesnt get caught?
i agree with you placid. but i said the same thing towards the end of last season. if the last episodes get some good ratings we'll probably (and hopefully) see another season. i still cant believe dexter didnt just kill doakes this episode rather than just choking him out. i have no idea what to expect next
This season was a little slow, but the last 2 episodes have gotten my pulse up. There's no way this will be the last season. The show is doing extremely well, I can't see them canceling it. I can't wait for tonight's episode. I just knew he should have stayed in his apartment. As for all the women in his life... that did seem to make the season drag a little. But that first Dexter-Lila sex scene was pretty darn hot. And she did bring out a different side of him that was interesting to see. Has anyone read the books? I read the first 2. The first book ends totally different than the first season of the show and the second season of the show took it in a totally different direction than the second book.

Dexter is great. The fourth season is one of the best seasons of a show I've ever watched. If you stop there though, you'll be okay. Kinda like how no one ever really needs to watch past season 3 of Weeds.
By far the best show on TV atm.
