Our HR Rep sent out an email today that we have a position for a Q/A Safety Engineer position on the ARES-I project for NASA that they are looking to fill ASAP....and are offering a HEFTY referral bonus to fill it....I can ONLY imagine what the actual salary of the position is like if the referral bonus is > $5K! Sooo.....PM me if you OR ANYONE you know might be qualified AND interested in working for NASA and relocating to LOVELY Huntsville AL! It really IS nice....cost of living is really low and the amenities are wonderful! You get to be MY neighbor and the drive to Bonnaroo is < 1 hour! ;D
My company has three Russian rocket Scientists on the payroll. There living the good life down in Boca Raton, so I don't think they'd be interested.
A whole bunch of years ago I went to a friend's wedding in New Jersey. I was talking to one of the bridesmaids and I told her I had lived in Alabama. She said she had thought about moving to Huntsville. I told she didn't want to do that cause there was nothing but rednecks and rocket scientists there. She replied that she was a rocket scientist. D'OH. Mojo went back to the hotel alone that night.

Well thanks Mojo! ;D I have my moments...but all in all I'd like to think not either....when we meet at 'Roo I hope you think not either...and notice it's WHEN...not IF...you DON"T have a choice this year! LOL! I am determined to meet EVERYONE this year since I missed everyone last year!
Sigh...I wish....and I still hold out a little hope for 'Rado.....but it isn't looking good. Even if I get the press/media pass...which I probably won't know till like 2 weeks b4 (that's how they tend to do those things ), the airfare is major $$$$ no matter Ft Lauderdale or Ft Myers - about $400 either way and that's with me driving an hour and a half to either b'ham or nashville to take a cheap flight on Southwest! Ungawdly expensive straight outta HSV... Not to mention, no way I, the supreme OVERPACKER could figure out how to pack for a CAMPING festie and FLY ??? Does not compute! LOL! I had my SUV FULL just driving to Echo!! And driving would take a ton of time - it's almost 14 hours from here - alone. That's an extra day - day and a half each way of leave.....and a TEDIOUS drive alone....I just don't see it happening for me this year....
But I hope you guys have fun! Party your asses off at UMPS for me!!! ;D And Keller!

Kinda figured it would be - actually - The Foo Fighters are playing BJCC on 1/19 - which is a Saturday - I am hoping Santa brings me something special in my stocking - like maybe a couple of tickets - LOL
