I usually make at least one festie appropriate thing a year. This is the year I figure out how to make a pretty backless hippie dress. The thing is... I think you have to part of some club to get a pattern I had to get one almost like what I wanted and now I have to alter.

I LOVE that fabric, aly! It's gorgeous!
Have you tried fabric/crafts stores for patterns? That might be a good try.
Since it's so warm outside, I have on my free people wool short sleeved sweater (I know, short sleeved). It's so cute and hippyish...it has these little blue puffballs that dangle from it. Puts me in a good mood every time I wear it!

True, but that's something I'm willing to chance I may be from one of the most backward states in the union, but it's only 60 degrees outside today..and that's chilly
You guys will never survive when summer temps skyrocket and you're not used to 100+ degree heat, so there.
ANYWAY on the topic of girly fashion...anyone want to help me find a cute dress to wear on NYE? It needs to comfy (I'm going to be dancing my booty off...haha) but cute too! AND It needs to be something I can wear flats with...I'm never making the mistake of wearing heels to a techno show again!

I love the look of a little shift dress with flats - especially if the dress is above the knee.

See - we may be somewhat backwards down South - but there are some advantages to living here
haha. but you guys will never survive when global warming sends us into the next ice age.
it would seem to me, that nobody will survive when we are thrown into the next ice age... it doesn't really matter if you are in florida or 400 miles north of it.
