One of Boz's friends plays drums for him and Boz just talked to him - said he died a few hours ago at home - Boz's friend said he and several other members of the band had gone to see him and jam a little and he was gone
I know a lot of people are going to bring up negative aspects about Ike Turner, but this is sad news. He was one of the founding fathers of Rock and Roll. Many claim that his song "Rocket 88" is the very first Rock and Roll song.

he will be missed. my friend has played with ike for about six years. bill and several other band members went to visit with ike cause he had not been well.bill said they had breakfast with him and were getting ready to play a little music.bill was setting up his drums and ike's exwife came from the back of the house and stated he's dead..when i talked to bill he sounded very upset and said he would call me back later. thanx for positive feed back. and that rock and roll heaven is getting a hell of a blues man.....
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

I hate to lose any great musician, no matter their personal life. It just means they are gonna be replaced with somebody that you will hear on the crappy radio....who also beats their wife.
