In an effort to get more exercise throughout the winter and with my hectic schedule, I have downloaded Stepmania and ordered a USB adapter for my Gamecube dance pad. Stepmania is a free, open source DDR clone with a lot of fan created songs (as well as DDR songs) I tried this once before with the Mario DDR game, but I couldn't get into dancing to Mario songs. I think with more song freedom, I may actually have some fun with this. Any other Stepmania players out there? Any suggestions on finding some good rock songs. I'd really like to find some songs by The Killers, The Bravery, and Hot Hot Heat.
one of my friends plays this all the time but without a dance pad so its looks extra geeky. its insane how fast he can hit those arrow keys. i played it myself once but i really couldn't picture myself playing for more than one song. icy tower on the other hand i could spend hours.

when i was in high school, someone put the code for this game into our network folder. so every computer in every building had access to this game. and any website that could be considered fun was blocked. so everyone resorted to playing this stupid game when class ended early.
I'm a rock band/gh3 player over ddr style games. Speaking of, any rock band owners for ps3 here?
i have rock band on ps3. i haven't had time to play yet (just moved, still unpacking).
speaking of gh3, did anyone hear about the dad who caught his kid smoking weed, so he sold his kid's gh3 on ebay and got $9000 for it! omg, who the hell would pay that much!?! it's not that fun.
