I finally have my Christmas tree all the way set up. I love my tree and have a gizzillion ornaments that I love. I buy a new "official ornaments"for the year and usually more because I like them... a lot... and they are cheap I wanted to strat this thread because I want to show off my tree and want to see yours...
I really need about 2 more feet of tree... I'm only using about half of everything I have

Ugh...we have a tree, but my roommate put it up and refused to use my decorations. So it's not that cute even. Besides, the tree with personality is the one at my parents house. Maybe I can get a pic before this weekend...
This thread makes me realize just how much of a secular haven downtown Madison is. There's no official holiday decorations aside from the State Holiday Tree in the Capitol building - and that nomenclature has Republicans in the state legislature boiling mad. But yeah, I live in a tightly condensed downtown area, populated mostly by younger and secular-leaning people (surprise, surprise - the Freedom From Religion HQ is located here) who largely rent and don't put up decorations. It wasn't until I went out shopping in one of the far ends of town last Sunday that I finally had Christmas up in my face. No wonder Bill O'Reilly says we "commune with Satan" here.
