As someone with celiac, this is wonderful news. None of the current GF alternatives to Cheerios are particularly appetizing (they taste like sugary cardboard).

I found out the other day that my little brother is putting a ring on it next month if everything goes according to plan with him paying off the ring. His ladyfriend is generally awesome and great for him. He also gets really adorable when he starts talking about her.

I've seen Kevin Devine & Jesse Lacey play acoustic together a few times and Manchester Orchestra once at a festival many years ago. Excited to see them all together. Hopefully there will be much collaboration.
Apparently Brand New & Ommegang collaborated on a beer. It'll be available for tasting at the show so that's pretty interesting.
They just announced this show here in NOLA on October 7!!! I am so excited.

woke up feeling pretty miserable. took a 3 hour nap and feel like I might make it. still feel under the weather but should be able to get done everything I need to get done before bonfire tomorrow! YAY!?!?!

The Front Bottoms rule. Bunch of college kids who make Pop punk/emo and they don't take themselves very seriously. Check out their EP Rose for an idea of their sound

Due to being out near her office for work, I got to have a hastily arranged lunch with the ladyfriend. Given the stresses of this last week or so, it was doubly awesome.
Thanks for the run ear infection. You may have been messing with me since February but as of today the doctor said you are gone! I can finally put headphones on again. Yay!
yay that our kitten, Star-Lord, has returned. he fell off our 4th story balcony two days ago and after searching everywhere, putting up ads, posters, and calling around, we set out for the humane society this afternoon to see if someone turned him in... ...and he crawled out from under a huge commercial dumpster in front of our building when he heard us. he's alright. he has abrasions on his face and leg but checked out fine at the vet.
so, yay he's ok. but also, don't be such an idiot, cat. no more balcony for him. G can back me up here- both of our pets are super sweet but dumb.
You guys really helped me out and actually because of you I got my excitement back for Bonnaroo.
You guys are the bee's knees, and you should really be happy because you helped out a stranger in need.
I cannot wait to see everyone of you at the brunch. At least so I can give you a high-five, except for custeph, she gets a hug.
This will be my first Bonnaroo, and I'm truly happy to get to meet you fine people. (I know crazykittensmile won't be there but I have a feeling I'll stick around the forum after Bonnaroo)

Woot! Went out tonight to see a friend's band, ended up on stage for a bit, and managed to land myself a gig as a featured artist in a few weeks' time. I love it when a plan comes together. *puffs cigar*
Hopefully I have an interview fer an interview tomorrow. The director of A/V at a hotel in the next town over and I have been playin' phone tag fer about a week. Fingers crossed!

Dropped my car off at the dealership today. I found out that it's was a transmission control module that was making it not start and that specific part is still under warranty! No out of pocket cost to me! Can still afford to get my bonnaroo ticket today! YAY!!!!!
The buyer accepted the counter offer on my house this morning, and a second buyer made an offer this morning. So I'm now in contract with a back up. Inspection is on Thursday. Guess it's time to begin packing for realsies.
And I have mild relief on my ear and was able to sleep a whole 5 hours without waking up from pain. That's my real win of the day.

Less than three hours until I am out of here for a week for a visit to the family in TN. Then, I'm back in the office for three days before a 5-day weekend while my little sister and her husband come here for a visit.

I think it said the final deadline to close was July 9. The inspection is on Thursday.
I broke my phone yesterday. And when I say broke, I mean I shut my trunk door on it by accident. So today, I went into ATT to see if I had insurance on my phone, I don't. So I had them transfer everything to an old iphone I had. So now I'm rockin a cracked ass iphone 4. Wooo. BALLIN! Anyways, the yay here is that I am eligible for an upgrade. So next Friday I'm getting a 64gb iphone 6 (for $45 out of pocket)!! Wooooo!
