I was the only person in my group of 60 that did the Roo Photo Hunt game on the app. In fact, people acted like it was kind of dumb. Well....
I WON TWO GA PASSES TO BONNAROO 2016 YESTERDAY!!!!
So. Stoked.
Nice. I didn't even know there was a game.
A lot of people never noticed it. I was riding co-pilot on the way down this year and found it. I never win anything and am always skeptical if anyone actually does, so this is pretty damn amazing!!!
YAY for going to the beach for two nights and having a treat yo self time. horseback riding on the beach, waterfront hotel and massive amounts of good seafood already planned. so pumped.
I have a working interview with a bagel shop on Wednesday. Fingers crossed I don't go full idiot!
Edited because my choice of words was bad and I felt bad.
Boom! Nailed it.
Just got the phone call offering me the job.
I am so happy. I get to leave the place that's been sucking my soul for the last 12 years and start doing what I love. I get to work with people that love what they do. I get to have a boss that's direct but also encourages her bakers to be creative and have fun. But most of all, I get to listen to good music all day and if I want to wear my headphones, I can.
My campaign involved a lot of negative ads and buying of votes but I'm the new office fire marshall. I think that means I get to have a dalmatian in the office.

Are you going to be taking a Dwight Schrute approach to fire safety?
my sister and bf work together in the summer. they were running late coming home today, and eventually told me just to meet them at her house. i came inside to a note that said "hi mom, i'm home! happy birthday!" on top of my new baby guinea pig's cage! such an exciting early birthday gift with how lonely it's been since i lost my pup a few months ago.

EEEEEEEEEEEEE! I can't wait for all the glorious snaps! Have you picked a name yet?

I did my health screening today for insurance. It was a nice reminder of how different things are with my health since I lost weight. I went from multiple indicators being bad or borderline to almost everything being not only not bad but in the good range. My resting heartbeat is low enough now to where the NP double checked the machine to make sure it was working right.
I just officially submitted my letter of resignation at work, effective 7am Monday, August 3rd.
I bet that felt GOOD!
It took everything in me to not type "BOOM BITCHES!" at the end. As in I did, then backspaced it. Especially since one of my immediate supervisors and my lieutenant still don't think I'm really leaving.
I forgot to post this yesterday... My brain is A-OK! My CAT Scan came up completely normal, except for very bad sinusitis. My allergies are so bad, that I am now constantly living with severe sinus congestion which is what is causing me to now have migraines. I have been added a second daily allergy medicine, and my daily med count is up to 4, BUT nothing scary going on. YAY!

Yay! Glad it's just your sinuses and not your brain. Hope you gain some relief with the new meds!

Very good news! I have horrible sinus problems too, but man oh man I'm glad mine aren't that bad.

True story...After I went to the allergist for the first time and got my shit under control (after almost dying because I didn't know I was severely allergic to dogs and we just got a puppy), I convinced my friend to go get her shit under control. When she went to my allergist, she told her that she had allergies like me. Once the did the tests and stuff, the allergist told my girl, your allergies are no where as severe as Vieux's. The allergist told her, that very few have it as bad as I do and are allergic to as much.
They want me to get the shots, but even on insurance my meds cost me about $110 a month. The shots are once a week for 52 weeks and you it doesn't start working for at least six months, so you have to still take your meds. You have to pay $45 per doctor visit, so that is $180 for the doctor and $110 for my meds, for at least 6 months. My meds used to cost $180 also, but I had the doctor switch me to something that the insurance pays a bit more of.
It is crazy to me, that without my allergy medicines, I would die, but my insurance doesn't cover the one that works the best. So I have to use MORE medicines and take more in order to live comfortably. I mean in theory, I could get rid of my puppies and my allergies wouldn't be as bad as a whole, except the seasonal allergies would still be the same, and I would still have daily allergy attacks. Its fucking annoying.

Have you ever tried Ponaris oil? I don't have crazy allergies, just chronic severe sinusitis and that stuff is such a relief. Flonase does the trick for me, I really should be taking an allergy pill daily as well but, well you know, that shit's expensive. My ENT told me try that oil to combat the extra dryness from the Flonase. It's like a nice cool breeze all up in my sinuses when I use it. Everything smells like eucalyptus for a bit after, but it could be worse.

No, but I am willing to try pretty much anything. I currently use Flonase because my insurance pays a bunch of it, I think I only have to pay $40/month... Veramyst is the best, but after my insurance it is still like $80 a month. Without insurance it is like $150. My daily allergy med (xyzal) is only $10, but I usually end up taking two or three of those per day, which is pretty much fucking crazy town. Plus, I get asthma from my allergies so I have to take asmanex daily, which is $10 also. AND I get to carry an inhaler and an epipen. So if there is anything to help me not get migraines (besides MORE Medicine) and that relieves my sinuses, I am all in. I just ordered some, will let you know if it helps.

It's a really great emollient. I use it two or three times a week usually before bed. Most of my discomfort comes from the swelling and dryness, that oil is like inhaling an ice cube into my sinuses. I really, really hope it helps you! Taking all those drugs sounds so awful and confusing. There's no way I could keep them straight. You're one tough lady.

My best friend and boyfriend both said that I am like a little old lady with all the meds I have to take in the morning. I just need one of those pillboxes. It's funny, and so not funny.
I got my financial situation figured out and I'm good to go. I could still use a little extra money, but who can't? I'm in a way better financial position than I was 24 hours ago. Thanks bank!!!
