I just won free tickets to see Moe! This is coming after months of not going to any shows due to lack of funds. Plus, I have never seen Moe. I'm super excited! Couldn't have come at a better time!

I randomly decided to take a week off in November for a non-travelling vacation, and I just bought tickets to see Penn & Teller that week! I can't believe it has taken us this long to go see them.
I just got tickets to Sia for $25!! Wooo! For being sad that this year was a light year of shows for me, seems like I'm really going to go out with a bang.
my sister/best friend/actual soulmate moved to texas this summer. she's coming home tomorrow for a week to visit, get her marriage license and go to our friends' wedding. i'm taking her to the pens game tomorrow, throwing a surprise bridal shower on sunday, then just eating everything in sight for a week. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT!

Ngl, I've been pretty FUCKED UP these last few months because of some snakes. But recently I've been not so FUCKED UP and am feeling normal again. I love all of you.
Y'all after months and months of working on my credit to get approved where I needed to be to buy a house, it has finally happened! My credit score jumped more than 75 points, I am approved for $15,000 more than we were expecting. I thought it was jinxed due to the fact that the 0% down payment assistance ran out of money, but I called my financial dude and I can use my Roth IRA and pull from my investments with NO penalties! Plus, since I pay into them already, we will make adjustments after I buy the house and it will be like I didn't even borrow that money.
I am finally going to be able to buy a house! We should be in a new house by the middle of January at the latest (if the houses we like work out that is). I can't fucking believe it. I could cry I am so happy.

So one of my all time favorite bands after some five years of inactivity is returnin' with a Kickstarter fer a best of LP and a new digital EP! Like holy shit I never thought I'd get to hear these guys do music again! And the stretch goal will be a live show (or more)! So I may be goin' to the Chicago area next year to catch one of my favorite bands live one last time.

We have a favorite if everything goes as planned. You will have a new room to sleep in and it will be so much roomier! So excited, going to look on Friday and Saturday! Fingers crossed the house we like has no real issues, and looks even better in person.
It's happening. Offer has been made on the favorite house. It's so nice. Needs painting to update kitchen and bathroom but otherwise perfect. It even has a fireplace! And a garage!
