I won a pair of PG 2.5 Playstations in a raffle, got them today. I am pretty damn excited. I think I'm going to put them on the shelf until the PS5 comes out, break them out for the right reason. I don't care if I am 30, the sneaker game grows.
I know some mfers that in the last couple of years are living off of dealing mostly shoes. It’s a weird place, but if you get in line early, there’s always someone willing to pay you a couple hundred over what you pay for the exclusives. Then again, I thought maybe you were cheering the Panthers firing some defensive coaches.
While I'm not necessarily 100% on board with the fire ron campaign, the defense coaches all need to go back to grade school.
One of my best friends is moving to my city next year! I'm sad I never got to visit him on the East Coast, but I think I'll get over it now that I can see him whenever I want! So happy right now

Quick flex: As of this week, all 6 of the interns I've hired for the Jaguars in the last couple years have recieved full time jobs upon completing the internship. 2 with the Bucs, 2 with the PGA Tour, 1 with the Falcons, one with us. I probably didn't have much to do with this stat, but I like to pretend like I do.

Just bought tickets to see High Fidelity at one of our local theatres/performance arts center. And John Cusack will be there to talk after the film shows. I am over the moon excited!
For my 15,000th post on Inforoo - I wanted to take a minute and talk about positive things.
On Saturday, the gf and I were in the Hartford area and met up with bonzai, and during the conversation she mentioned it was nice to hear me say nice things about my family considering in my past I had ripped on them a bunch of times here. Then again, at some point in the past I (now regretfully) ripped on my gf here too.
It's easier to bitch than it is to say nice things. So I'm gonna say nice things. In the last few years - I got a house. I got out of a soul crushing job into something better. I've been with the same wonderful lady for the last seven years. I get to travel and go to shows, maybe not as much as I'd like but enough. Things have gotten better between my family and I, I'm no longer the black sheep.
Life might not be perfect overall, but they're better. And I'm a happier person overall than I used to be.
Oh, and the Patriots won another Super Bowl. That's always good too.

I was so close to loving this post.
For real though I'm very glad to see that not only are things looking up for you externally, but you're aware that things are better and are able to recognize and appreciate it. Sometimes that's half the battle.
I just saved over 50% in car insurance by switching to Progressive. Really. Geico fucked me last year with a massive rate increase for no reason. So I dumped them and went to Liberty Mutual. It was still too high for full coverage on both cars ($3,600 a year), but that was still doable. They quoted me like $4,700 for this year - neither of us has a driving record - so I said fuck them too. I'll just try online with Progressive. Shit was like $1,200 for 6 months or about 1/2 of the quote. Shit was going to break me too, so now I don't have to get dicked by these fuckers in a second year with them. Penii.
Just filed out my new job paperwork. Pay is shit, but it is an entry level job at a tv production company and is a foot in a door that I have been trying to get into since 2007. I have been stupid busy at Where trying to tie up loose ends before I leave tomorrow. I am so excited to be moving on to a new chapter in a field that I know I have growth opportunity and that I feel is a perfect fit for me. I am so fucking happy, y'all!!

This is very exciting! It feels like the current job has been sucking the life out of you for so long.

WHERE has been the worst for a few years, I am so glad to be done. Lois has been out of office all week and refused to listen to my voicemail, read my email or my text message, so I got to tell her my last day is Friday on the phone today. It made me feel like a million dollars. She flips and was PISSED. My favorite was: "You don't NOT give two weeks. And leaving before Guestbook closes is just shitty."
She is going to come into work on Monday and I will be GONE!
I like to sleep with audiobooks playing, so I usually sleep with earbuds in, but of course, they aren’t very comfortable, and they fall out in the night. The speaker part of these is flat and is inside a headband. The speakers can move around in the headband, so you can situate them just right for your ears. They do sometimes move around while I’m sleeping (I’m a pretty mobile sleeper), but the headband does a decent job of staying in place.
I’m a terrible judge of sound quality, and I’ve only ever listened to audiobooks on them so far, so I can’t speak to how music sounds on them, but the books come through crisp and clear. And my husband says he can’t hear them at all when I play them. I’m really excited to try them out on a plane! (And I sound like a commercial.)
