So, I just got back last Friday from a conference in San Diego (completely paid for by my work, including $64 a day for food), and I found out today that they are sending me to Annapolis in July for another one!

YAY - I get to go to Tampa in August and Houston in September. I would rather go to Annapolis (my brother lives there)
^I'd take any of them. I don't get to travel much, so a free trip anywhere is pretty exciting for me! (I just wish I could take Josh with me. )
I hear ya - I have the option to take Boz - but we would have to pay for his flight and food - so instead - my BFF goes with me. She went to destin with me last year for a week and is excited about Tampa

^ Yeah, I could take Josh, but we also would have to pay for his flight and food, plus we'd have to get the dogs boarded, and this one is a whole week. They sent 8 of us to San Diego, but I think they are only sending 2 to Annapolis. I have no idea yet who the other person going will be.

Yay! for naps. Yay! for a three-day weekend. Yay! for sunny, 80 degree days in beautiful southern Indiana. Yay! the students are gone for awhile and we get our town back. Yay! for tomorrow's farmers' market. Yay! the pools are opening this weekend.

She's my first, and I'm her only Aunt, no uncles either ;D She's beautiful and amazing! And beautifully, amazingly... the longest damn baby I've ever seen, 24 inches! She didn't really stand a chance though, we all come from long lines of freakishly tall, lanky folks

That's exactly what Cali's doctor said... he kept saying she was going to be big but he said he never thought she would be that big. If you don't mind me asking, how tall are you now? My brother just sent me pictures of her in her first tie dye, I'll probably be posting them tonight (you guys are just gonna have to ignore the overly excited aunt I am right now )
I'm 6'3" now, but I also come from a tall family on my dad's side, where that's about average for the men (shortest male is 5'11", tallest is a whopping 6'8"; my female cousins all range between 5'10" and 6'1")

Yay that so far today I have nothing to Grr about! I hope it stays this way.... I am so pumped for tomorrow afternoon. I cancelled the kids I see after school for therapy tomorrow so I can wait for Tyrone to bring me my tickets!
I don't get to travel much, so a free trip anywhere is pretty exciting for me! (I just wish I could take Josh with me. 
)
