So let's see. I went to New Hampshire and DC. Got tickets to Mt Jam and Forecastle. Was out a couple times with a gal in Rhode Island, and she still hasn't run for the hills yet. Continued good happenings at work. Went to see Tool.
So far 2012 is pretty awesome, and its only January. I got a real good feeling about this year.
I actually have an idea for a coffee truck. Its to be called Black Magik. Music I'm sure will play a part, but it's a very Voodoo based theme. Shrunken heads and whatnot's.
I do have an idea for someone with a taco truck called Nacho Mamma's.
GL, I think I'd totally stalk a coffee truck called Black Magik. I'd also stalk a taco truck - but be advised there is a restaurant in Augusta GA called Nacho Mamma's thats been there since around 1996... Im sure it's not copyrighted or anything, just fyi. ...and they have majestic cheese dip.

The people who actually work with me (read: Not my boss), appreciate me. I got the nicest email from one of my customers saying how they really like me and have enjoyed working with me for the past year.
my youngest daughter was elected "Best Sense of Humor" by her Senior class peers. (the kid could easily be a standup comedienne). She's also yearbook editor. The oldest was voted "most likely to succeed" in 2008. She's running for president-elect of her student nurse association. Overall, I think that I've done pretty well as a mom. and oh, they're both stunningly beautiful redheads and a lot of fun.
and you all are amazing!!!! can't wait to see everyone!

WHOOOOHOOOOOO! Another long work week over, almost time to fetch my (not Bonzai, but another) friend Bonnie from the airport, grab some hot chicken, a Bushwhacker or three, sleep it off, and go to my friend's baby shower, then get PAIDpaid for illustrating a children's book about penguins. Life friggin' rules on my boat.

I was doing the happy dance out of the doctor's office and completely forgot to grab beer for the weekend - I got home and realized that I had one Red Stripe, a 22 of Ninkasi Red and few Sam Adams Octoberfest (blech!) that someone left in my fridge. I took the RS, left the Ninkasi for Ron and counted my blessings that at least I had one beer to celebrate with. ;D
^ I hear wine is a fairly decent substitute for those times when you're really desperate. But we all know how much you hate wine, so there probably isn't any stocked in the house. *sigh*
Speaking of YAY! And DRINKING! I just got home from having a surprise evening of after-work dinner & drinks with the lovely PopsicleSarah! And tomorrow I'll get to see/hug/party with the ever-lovely Mayo! So YAAAAAAAY for living halfway between Inforooster cities! I'm so lucky to be able to see such awesome people on a regular basis!

I finally got Employee of the Month at job 2 today. I've been there for 4 and a half years so it's about time!! Granted, servers rarely get it for some reason- it's something we all gripe about. And there are over 200 employees with a high turnover rate. The best part is that I get free parking for a month! I often walk (4 blocks), but it's parking garage parking and we get zero discount. I am so driving now.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Just finalized plans to go to NOLA on Memorial Day weekend with my old lady. NOLA>3 days of work>weekend>3 more days of work>Bonnaroo! Late May and early June are gonna kick ass!
I've gone 5 days without a cigarette!!! I know it doesn't sound like much, but I've been a steady smoker for about 5 years. No gum, no e-cigarette, and suprisingly no cravings!
I even tested my biggest enabler and had a Captain and Coke last night, and nothing!! I drove to work today, with a coffee (both enablers for me), and didn't even have a craving. I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY wanting and hoping this sticks.
PS - Phi, you were my inspiration and motivation for this.

Yay Duddits! I'm so glad you're not having any cravings. They suck sooo bad! I'm approaching 3 weeks and I'm still having them. But I have been smoking since I was 13, or 21 years. I think the longest I have quit in that time was 9 or 10 months. I hope you and Phi can keep it up!
YAY! for first statement, not so much second, thought in the spirit of this thread I can say... YAY he has lived way longer than he could have from the initial diagnoses (typically told under one year for a glioblastoma).
It's a year of damn miracles, I tell you.
