i honestly gave up on myspace and strictly use facebook now, so I'm not aware of the new changes they made. I know some of my friends who are married use both their married name and maiden without hyphenation and that still comes up in a search
facebook just appeals to me more personally. it might be because I joined before it was a "free for all" and didn't have applications. Plus, more of my friends use facebook than myspace.

I have myspace but I am almost thinking about deleting it. Honestly who cares anymore, it just brings me down sometimes seeing stupid people I have known go and do great things and I can't do crap.
And besides....I like you guys SOOOOO much better.
I used to have both, but I got rid of Myspace since it had gotten so ridiculous. Facebook was good until they branched out and let people in that were not college students and alumi, plus with the addition of these stupid applications I might just get rid of Facebook as well.

had a myspace first then got a facebook got rid of the myspace bcause alls i got were friend requests from hot robot chicks. i think both are good if you are using it for what its supposed to be used for. and that DOESNT consist of posting a million pictures of you half naked...i dont understand why people would want their entire lives on that stuff. "this is me, in a black and white picture with my shirt off but a blanket covering the private parts..blah blah blah" gee, your so CREATIVE.... NOT

my last.fm account always messes up. like it will say its down or some crap. i'm thinking im going to delete the facebook. it only leads to me investigating things that shouldnt be looked into.
I now have both. I signed up for facebook just to enter to win the Bonnaroo tickets. But I'm trying to stay away - myspace and Inforoo keep me away from work enough as is!
Although the most random thing was when one of the actors I often work with added me as a facebook friend. I think he was just trying every email address he had!
LOL - thanks for trying - but they have also block all of those sites - Spooky tried to help me out with a site like that also - it worked for about an hour - until they caught it on a sweep and banned it.
Actually...fuzz.com is where it's at! ;D ...but....I have a myspace.com....locked down ABSOLUTELY tight...just for music..bands....a FEW friends.... (Inforooers are welcome...send me an invite BUT ...I don't update often...nothing on it.... not really worth the effort I'll warn you.... : stuff like that....no "space ass" as someone called it LOL! or "Hey I knew you in High School! " Yeah..... No facebook.....don't see the need for what I use it for....yet....
fuzz.com is ALL about the music! So that's what I'm all into these days...... ;D
"I want you to notice When I'm not around You're so fücking special I wish I was special But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here" -Radiohead

I cannot even access photobucket from work
yeah, i've got the same deal at work. pretty much everything is blocked.
I find that both are necessary to stay in touch with my various people. I can't keep in touch with everybody through one or the other. In my case, it seems that where site membership doesn't overlap - Myspace has more of my high school/hometown people, and Facebook has the college/urbanites in my crew. More of my people who are on both seem to prefer Facebook.
As far as the international flavor: My old roommate, currently teaching English in Korea, is on both. My repatriated Australian friend is only on Myspace. Old high school foreign-exchange student friends from Denmark & Germany are only on Facebook.

i feel that facebook is better for that peer to peer communication and keeping in touch, and myspace is a great haven for musicians. I don't have an official band, but I make some tunes and I'm glad I'm able to post them in a community where local and small time music is highly praised.
