I have a bad feeling he's going to sign with the Buckeyes, but he would be a perfect fit for Rich Rodriguez' offense at Michigan, and would probably start from day 1.

If hes smart he'd go for the Buckeyes. ;D Seriously though, at the moment they just have a much better program built up, even though he wouldn't start immediately.
Hopefully UM, he would start there day 1, look what rodriguez did with those kind of players at WVU. If pryor wants attention for the next 3-4 years, he is going to get a ton of it with all the drama surrounding WVU and UM right now. Plus, who wants to be on the team that loses the championship 2 years in a row?

Well, if he's shortsighted and just looks at who's been better the last couple years, rather than looking at what offense he could thrive in the best, he'll choose OSU.
It's not like Michigan is in some deep hole they're never getting out of. They were a questionable Shawn Crable late hit away from the national championship game last year. Speaking of that, I wonder how many OSU fans would rather have had UM win that game and avoid the embarrassment against Florida?
Regardless....sounds like we'll find out tomorrow at noon.
Watch pryor end up at penn state! why are they one of his front runners? UM, OSU and Oregon all make a ton more sense for him.. especially oregon and UM, but why penn state?

Tressel will suit the offense to his skills when he starts, he runs whatever system is best for the players hes got. I also believe Tressel has a better reputation of sending players into the draft in the first round, has Rodriguez had a first round pick? No offense to him, i think hes a pretty good coach, but also over hyped.

don't have a bad feeling! that's a good thing! the feeling that you do have is from indigestion from UM not being able to beat tressel!

And honestly i don't think Pryor is a good enough thrower to succeed in an offense without a very strong running game. It will be interesting to see where he goes, i think UM needs him more.

Local team, and he has a good relationship with their QB coach.

Like you said in your next post, the jury is still out on how good of a passer he is. I really don't think he's as good a passer as Troy Smith, so this will be something new for Tressel. And if he isn't a good passer then Rodriguez' offense is the perfect place for him. Not that he couldn't fit his offense if Pryor can throw the ball (Rodriguez was the OC at Tulane when Shaun King threw for almost 4,000 yards), but Rodriguez is the best spread-option coach out there.
Rodriguez has been recruiting at West Virginia, so the talent pool hasn't exactly matched that of OSU and UM, so I'm not going to blame him for not coaching any first round picks. Pat White was a 2 star recruit and Steve Slaton was a 3 star recruit, so I think Rodriguez has earned a lot of the hype he's gotten based on what he turned WVU into.
Bottom line regarding the pro's....if he can throw the ball accurately, he'll go. Doesn't matter which school he goes to.

I'm not too suprised, OSU is by far the more established program right now. Michigan is in a bit of a state of turmoil. It also seems like he doesn't want to play in the spread option.

Spread option isn't very NFL friendly. Who is UM's QB now, does Rodriguez have one that will fit his new system?
That does seem to be the perception, but supposedly Pryor inquired with NFL scouts and they told him Rodriguez' offense would do a fine job preparing him for the nfl. Guess he just couldn't wait til the nfl for the $$ though Rodriguez was the OC for Shaun King, but that comparison doesn't mean much since he was running a pass-first version of the spread at Tulane and that definitely wouldn't have been the case with Pryor.
Uhhh, right now UM's QB is a walk-on. Seriously. They got a transfer from Georgia Tech last year, Steve Threet (he transferred before his freshman year even began, so he'll be a RS FR), and he was a top 15 QB coming out of high school, but he's pretty much a drop back passer. The walk-on who is taking snaps with the first team in spring practices, Nick Sheridan, can move, but isn't really that fast. They did sign a (hopefully) Pat White clone out of Florida in this years class, Justin Feagin. He's about 6', fast as hell, but only a 2/3 star and was recruited as a DB by most schools....all of that was true of White as well. Can lightning strike twice?? We'll find out in the fall when he gets on campus. In the end I think he'll end up splitting time with Threet. UM is recruiting a few QB's for next year's recruiting class with Tate Forcier (brother of ex-um qb jason forcier) probably their top pick. He's a top-100 talent and has the legs and arm needed for RR's offense.
