THE 5th ANNUAL ROOTS JAM SESSION will be the alternative to all of the other “stuffy” industry events that normally overwhelm the Hollywood scene during award season. This highly anticipated annual experience, occurring the night before the Grammys, is where artists and executives get a chance to entertain, be entertained, and get educated on the important issues affecting our world at present - this year in collaboration with ROCK THE VOTE. The stage show can be best described as a who’s who in music performing in one continuous 4-hour plus jam session with no breaks between acts and the energy of live musical backing from one of Rolling Stone’s “20 greatest live acts in the world” - the Grammy Award winning band, THE ROOTS.
Past guests have included Tom Cruise, Beyoncé, Don Cheadle, Anita Baker, Norah Jones, Gnarls Barkley, Dave Chappelle, Fall Out Boy, Queen Latifah, Matisyahu, Jeremy Piven, Michel Gondry, Snoop Dogg, Bill Maher, Common, India.Arie, Sharon Stone, Danny Glover, Mos Def, Fiona Apple, Jurnee Smollett, Ne-yo, Nikka Costa, Jill Scott, Matt Stone & Trey Parker, Aisha Tyler, Ron Jeremy, Erykah Badu, Spike Lee, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Alicia Keys, Jay Z and many more…

I have yet to eat there.. I heard the food is fab.
Okay, my "good" news that I'm excited about is that I'm going to rent Across the Universe tonight! I wanted to see the movie in theatres but never got around to doing it! I'm excited
