I worked at Silver Fox steakhouse for a while, which was started by the guy who made Del Frisco's franchise. He was an eccentric old guy named Dale Wamstad, it was his way or the highway. Anyways, the steaks in there were phenomenal, and the seasoning was pretty simple.
Kosher salt and cracked bell pepper with a dash of cumin paprika and white pepper.
The main ingredient in a lot of gourmet cooking is Kosher Salt, it brings out the flavor of things without adding the flavor of salt. I use this seasoning on everything that needs salt and pepper. After working there I am a badass on the grill, my dads friends who are way older than me think I make the best steaks, and all want the recipe for the seasoning. So i am sharing, just spread a good layer of the seasoning on both sides of the steak and grill it. if someone else tries it let me know what you think.

I could never wait tables at a place like that, too prissy for my tastes, but working in the kitchen was awesome until they changed my hourly to tip share and cut my hours. Wine and liquor tastings there were good though. If you ever get the chance to try Don Julio 1942 tequila its amazing, and a bottle of Col Solare. One day i will splurge on that.

Right you are on that one. Guy that works at a liquor store gave me a taste of his. Said that's all he drinks, tequila wise. Great stuff, but I mean it is quite expensive.

I am not sure where all they have Texas De Brazil locations, but its amazing. Best salad bar in the world, its just $45 a person, but you get discount coupons if you sign up for their mailing list. fudge cake with 3 layers of chocolate mousse, holy quack its good. that and Vegas buffets, I have never eaten so much in my life.
I've been obsessed with cumin lately so I did this on my own last weekend and it was freaking awesome. I also added just a teensy bit of cayenne because I was feeling spicy. Best steak ever.
