okay, so I have been caught up in the guitar hero craze and I have been trying really hard to bridge the gap between medium to hard...usually completing 25-50% of a diffacult song.
Well tonight I did it! Something in my brain just clicked and I beat 5 hard songs in a row!

Yes, but did you play Run To The Hills? That song is just plain IMPOSSIBLE on the hard setting. I prettymuch play that and Poison's Talk Dirty To Me repeatedly lol.

I intentionally don't own this game. If I did, I would never accomplish anything outside of the game.
Instead, I just like to go to friends places and rock out. I'm more of an expert player tho, only because I played guitar for years before the game ever came out so my fingers are used to it.
Congrats on the accomplishments though! Stick with it and I'm sure you'll be impressing everyone on expert sooner than you think. Expert really isn't that far of a leap from hard...

YAY!
I am soooo happy!
Isnt it a great feeling when you figure out how to do what I call 'The Orange Button Slide'? I learned it practicing the "Sweet Child Of Mine" opening solo over, and over and over and over...it's cool when it finally clicks!
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "

DUDE. I've seen YouTube videos of 8 yr olds mastering this move. Teach me, master.

Haha...well how big are your hands? That's what determines if you 'step' to get to orange, or 'slide'. I have REALLY big hands, so I usually just reach a step down w/ my pinky...but people w/ smaller hands or shorter fingers literally have to slide down a fret.

I have small hands. I will be doing the electric fret slide.

I kept playing woman over and over (I used to like that song) and I could never finish it because it's fucking hard. last night I picked up the guitar and it just worked.
