Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Here is a game to keep you occupied. write down two random artists and see if anyone can connect them. It is really hard to find people who don't match.
example if I say Carl Perkins and Michael Jackson
some one would write 1.Carl Perkins is on johnny cash's live at San Quentin 2.johnny cash worked with bob Dylan on Nashville skyline 3.bob Dylan worked with Robbie Robertson on the basement tapes 4.Robbie Robertson played with Eric Clapton on the last waltz (bob was there but did not play with Eric) 5.Eric Clapton played on the Beatles while my guitar gently weeps 6.Paul McCartney has a song with Michael Jackson on thriller(the girl is mine)
try flea and Dr john, if you think this is to hard list two of your own artists, people can always come back and answer this one

1. Rick Rubin produced the RHCP album Blood Sugar Sex Magik; 2. He also produced an album for Neil Diamond; 3. Neil Diamond and Dr. John both appeared (and played in the finale together) in The Last Waltz.

Nice. I was thinking of a Keith Richards (Hail, Hail Rock & Roll) to Stanley Clarke (New Barbarians) to Copeland (Animal Logic) route, but yours works just as well. Karma.

I did some heavy lifting to keep the last version of this thread going and am ready to do the same here (with the help of Wikipedia).
Ringo Starr played with Zappa on "Chunga's Revenge";
Ringo Starr and John Lennon were in a band that never played Bonnaroo;
Elton John played on Lennon's "Whatever Gets You Through the Night";
Elton John and Gladys Knight performed on "That's What Friends Are For";
Gladys Knight and Brandy performed a song "Missing You";
Kanye West produced Talk About Our Love by Brandy.
There
Hate to nerd it up, But Ringo nevere appeared on a Zappa record. He did appear in Zappa's 200 Motels film (but not the soundtrack), and Zappa and Lennon played together on Lennon's Sometime in NYC album (and Zappa's Playground Psychotics), so that link would make it a step shorter.

Bad Religion and Golden Smog both had songs on the "Clerks" soundtrack
Jeff Tweedy was in Golden Smog and Wilco
Wilco and the North Mississippi Allstars Hill Country Review, which included RL Burnside, had over lapping sets at Bonnaroo in 04 that make us have to haul as$ from the What Stage to This Tent to see them both...

Okay: Black Keys -> Alicia Keys
I thought the game required actual collaborations, not just being on the same compilation or playing the same fest?
