I know a few people on here dig Isis, just got my 'Shades of the Swarm' box in the mail and it is INCREDIBLE.
The artwork, the packaging, everything about this boxed set is amazing. The vinyl is 180 gram, the sleeves each contain really cool prints inset on a solid color sleeve. 12 discs to listen to, although I have most of these already on vinyl I've been playing it nonstop.
To anyone not familiar with the box, check out aaronbturner.blogspot.com/2008/02/beast-pt-1.html to see what it looks like. They were extremely limited which kind of sucks, a whole lot of people missed out on it....
But anyway, I'm just excited and I had to tell someone and my wife is pretty much tired of hearing me talk about it lol
I really wish theyd come to Roo. That would make my year....
If you've never listened to them before, try to find the track Low Tide that they recorded with Aerogramme, I think it would sound beautiful at Roo in a late night jam.
