So I live in a rental house and the people who lived here before me must have been smoking something because they painted my bathroom walls like this:
horrible, right?
so tonight I decided I couldn't take it anymore and went to get some painting supplies. of course because there were like 4 layers of paint (including black) and pieces on mirror glued on the wall it was little more diffacult than I expected and there was some spacklin involved and yada yada yada...
long story kinda short:
I had to put like three coats of kilz on the wall and being all inexoerienced with this stuff, I got it all over my hands when I tried to rinse the roller. it was a nightmare and needless to say my hands are like completely white.
I need your help. How can I get this shit off my hands???
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

KILZ rules. It's saved me a lot of work many times over. I guess not knowing how to paint sucks. Word of advice, the next time you use it, assume that you will be sacrificing the roller. I don't see how you could get it sufficiently clean enough to use with any other paint after that. If you're just trying to clean it so you can paint with more KILZ the next day or something, just wrap it in plastic wrap or a grocery bag or something. That will keep it from drying out overnight.
I use the stuff at work occasionally. (Work at an apartment complex.) I'm pretty sure they have an oil-based KILZ and a latex-based KILZ. Sounds like you've got the first. Try using all the stuff everybody else told you to use. Should work with a little scrubbing. If you ever buy KILZ again and expect to get it all over, try finding some that isn't oil-based. That poo from my butt comes right off.
Unless you got the oil based primer (It will say OIL primer on the label) soap, water and a green scrub pad are probably best. Ammonia or rubbing alcohol might help also. Gas, thinner, turpentine, mineral spirits, can't hurt and will work better for oil based.
These method are really for removal before drying. Once the paint is dry is can be hard to get off, just like on surfaces. That's why it's so good as a primer. It sticks so well.
rockvox is right about just throwing rollers, etc away afterwards, though I have salvaged some by washing VERY well in water immediately after using.

Now you could always take a razor and just shave it off. Skin grows back eventually
Goto an auto store and buy some stuff called Fast Orange. Its excellent for getting crap off your hands. Buddies who work on cars all day use it to get all that grease etc off their hands, works great with paint too if all else fails.
