Over the past week or so - my karma is taking regular hits.

I just want to say - whoever is smiting me - the joke is on you - because if you are smiting me everytime you get on Inforoo - that just means that you cannot smite anyone else - soooo hahahahahahahah ;D ;D ;D ;D

I personally don't get what the deal is about the whole karma system here. I've never seen anything like it on any other message board. No offense intended, but it seems to me like a bit of a popularity contest. I could really care less where mine lies and I don't get why anybody else cares. Since I've been lurking here and signed up, I've seen a lot of people get hung up on it. Some even go so far as to let it effect what ideas or thoughts they express here, for fear of a "smite". Whatever.

If you feel comfortable on the boards, have regular people that you discuss things with and joke around, then why should some little insignificant number matter.

That being said, I do try to give karma whenever I'm on the boards, rather than waste it. So here's to you Meg.
