I just listened to it on Youtube and I like. Somehow I've never heard him before even though he was at Bonnaroo 06. The version I heard was just him and a guitar, I assume the album version is like this?
You going to see him when he's in Austin for SXSW?
i LOVE brett dennen!!!!! i just recently got a cd with some of his songs, and that was one of them on there. he's so great and cute...i want to see him live so bad, but can't at sxsw.

I believe he was at Bonnaroo in '05 instead of '06

gah! i wish! i went to his myspace to find out his tour dates and was totally bummed when i saw he was at SXSW.
its just not my kind of "festival". i can't handle that kind of chaos, and every bar will be packed to the walls. i'm sure i sound totally lame, but whatever. if i could buy a ticket JUST for his show i'd totally be there.
He was at Bonnaroo in 05. I happened to catch him on one of the cafe stages. I later got his album as a promo when I worked at Borders and fell in love with his music. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up before I put his albums back into rotation. They are so appropriate for springtime. My favorite is "Just like the Moon"

oh i'm so jealous. but i'm hoping to make it to rothbury...i'm determined!!!
Unfortunately, I didn't really know who he was at the time. I was only halfway paying attention, but I remember thinking "hey, I like that guy." I would love to see him again.

gah! i wish! i went to his myspace to find out his tour dates and was totally bummed when i saw he was at SXSW.

You can buy a ticket for a single showcase though, no? I mean, it will be a packed house and it sucks, but you don't have to get a fest wristband to see a show. Also, check out what in stores Waterloo Records has (although I am sure you know this), I went to a few of them during SXSW that were not listed on artist tour dates (including Jim James solo acoustic which was a ton of fun). They usually have 2 free beers per person at the Waterloo in store shows too, or at least did a couple years ago when I lived there.
Also, Brett Dennen's profile is updated to this year's info on Bonnaroo.com which makes me believe he's gonna be an artist addition
