Is such a lovely time! Maybe its just because the weather turned from bitterly cold to a pleasant temperature thats just right for a pair of pants or shorts and a shirt and your comfortable. Maybe its the calmness and the clear blue sky above me. Maybe its the chirps of the birds in the trees, and the gentle but vacant breeze that flows through every now and then. Perhaps the green grass and the leaves beginning to fill the trees, flowers blossoming and the life that has come back is what fascinates me.
What ever it is, I love the spring. It may or may not officially have come but to me it is here Now Roo is next
I'm sitting in Dallas/Fort Worth airport with a white-out outside. My flight's not cancelled yet, but I can't believe I'm getting out if here tonight...

Me mums lives in suburban Dallas, I'm gonna call her on my way home. Thanks for the info! Weird that it's colder there than in DC.
They are predicting snow here in Memphis tomorrow. Weird, because it's about 56-degrees and sunny right now. Probably will creep in overnight. Hopefully it won't be too bad. Memphis drivers are the worst in the world under normal conditions.......

I'm sorry for you guys with the crappy weather because I am thoroughly enjoying this nice spell of warm-ish weather.....it's gonna get cold again though......Hope it clears up for everyone else.....it'll be warm soon enough.......plus once we get to roo we will be begging for this kind of weather again lol
We have a winter storm advisory tonight, but its 45 and sunny right now. It's supposed to get really cold this weekend, then warm up next week. Hopefully it will stay that way.
I love spring - there's the whole promise of the rest of the year.
I always think that fall is my favorite season, but then it's all "gotta get outside now, this might be the last time!" Spring is all - first time get to go outside! first time I can go without a coat! first outdoor concert! first trip to the beach! first time wearing open-toed shoes!

Update: [rant] Well, I didn't get out, not only are all the flights canceled, but they closed the airport to all vehicles except taxis. I got one of the last hotel rooms around but the free shuttle wasn't allowed into the airport and the taxi marshall guy put me in a cab with two other guys going in completely different directions. Took me 45 minutes and $20 to go about a mile and a half. I'm now booked on a 6:35pm flight out tomorrow.

Peace and spring blessings to you all, I feel better now.

Sorry about your bad luck w/the weather. Texas can't handle any form of snow because it happens so rarely. Be happy it wasn't an ice storm, that is way worse. And people drive like assholes there, so that just makes it worse. Hopefully there's a bar in your hotel and you're on an expense account.
I'm sure you just want to go home, tho. Have some karma.
Thanks Bunny. Expense account, yes, bar, no. There's a Starbucks next to the hotel, so I thought I'd head out for a brew. They closed at 6:00pm due to "snow emergency", even though it's all thawed already.
Spent a happy evening however listening to STS9 and playing Boomshine:

Yea iv heard its supposed to rain/snow tomorrow or so???? In Jackson, MS?!? Thats the oddest thing ever. Won't happen though, never does when predicted we got our snow for the decade earlier this year. Im just glad its been a nice few days, makes me remember whats to look forward too.
-9 for Friday morning here. It's finally suppose to be in the 40s next week. I will believe it when I see it. I have lived here in MN my whole life, but this winter has really kicked my aZZZ! I'm not going to complain about the Tenn. heat this summer.
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
